Daily Affirmation: Born This Way

Born Book Hoarder Giveaway

Book hoarding is not a lifestyle choice.

I was born this way.

I don’t have a problem. I can stop whenever I want.

My teachers said to READ READ READ!

They said reading makes me smarter.

By now, I’m the smartest person I know.

Because I’m an enabler, I encourage the practice of book hoarding.

Have I mentioned yet the list of my “Favorites” books you must read? They’re really spectacular.

I want everyone to have a stocked-up virtual—or actual—bookshelf like mine. So I’m giving away a $25 Amazon.com gift card to one of you gorgeous readers.

I am going to say 6 because when I get gift cards I tend to buy the more pricey ones that I hold off on, so that would be one or two at $6-7, so say $14 and then a couple $2.99-$3.99 brings me up to $22 and toss in 2 0.99 for good measure.

Thank you for the giveaway and the teachers that encourage you to read. I would say that I could get about 5 or 6 books.

I would first buy Truth, Consequences and Convicted because I’m dying to read them but have been to tight to come off the cash then with whatever’s left over I would try to pick an assortment of $0.99 books. So probably at least 9 books. NICE! lol
Thanks for another great giveaway :)

Goodness! At least 10 eBooks. This keeps my hoarding cat-safe and allows my addiction to thrive without interference from my husband to the authorities.

  5. Amy R

I agree with a previous post that with a gift card I usually buy the more expensive books on my wish list. FYI, I already know what I would buy (Olivia Cunning sinners and sole regret).

I don’t know how many books….maybe 6 or 7 or MOREEEEE!!!! :-) Depends on how many I want to get off of my wish list. Just bought Convicted so that’s one less I’d have to buy. :-) Thanks for the giveaway!

If I were being wise (and frugal) it would buy me 25 books! But in all honesty, too many I want cost a little more than 99 cents. So let’s say…15? Yea. Thereabouts.

  8. Karen Arrowood

It totally depends on how careful I was – I could get as many as 25 ebooks, or as few as one new hardback :-) But I would probably end up with 7-10 ebooks.

  9. Mary Jo Toth

Probably about 15-18 – I would let myself splurge on more expensive e-books with a gift card but 99 cent books are so much fun to 1-click!

  10. Laina G

Being that I have almost 100 on my wishlist … no where near enough …LMAO (probably about 5 since most of the books I want are $4.99+

  11. Leslie Serrano

At least 5 I would think. Of course it depends on which books I can get for $0.99. But I would get as many as I can get! ^_^

  12. Pennie M

If I bought all 99 cent books then I could by 25 books or mix it up. It doesn’t matter… Hi, my name is Pennie and I am a book addict. Do I consider this a problem? Absolutely NOT!

  13. Stephanie

If I’m thrifty I can maybe swing 8 or 9 but knowing me and the books coming out soon I would say 4 or 5 lol

  14. Donna M.

Never enough books, but $25 could buy me 2 to 20 books depending on the authors, my mood and sales I find listed on your blog. :D Thanks for the giveaway.

  15. Ruth Gutscher

I am an avid reader of several authors and genres…I can never have too many books…. Thanks for the giveaway…..

  16. Jenny Dauksa Schaber

I would do my best to get 25, but I might actually get a couple of higher priced ones that I can’t seem to spend my own money on.

  17. Sandra

In theory 25. But I’d love to go through my wishlist and buy the ones that have been there the longest. Those are usually more expensive books :-)

I have been a reading fool for many years, going back so far as the summer reading program where I grew up. In the 3rd grade, my friend Ashley and I, were competing to see who would read the most books (yes, it was a good and friendly competition but I did win). Twilight got me back into reading with a passion so laugh all you want, but those damn sparkling vampires inspired me.

  19. Crystal Guidroz

Of course it depends upon pricing that day, but I would estimate anywhere from 8 – 12.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  20. artichoke8

A lot of the books I buy are usually $3 or less; So I would say I could probably get 8-10 books with $25!

Thanks for the giveaway & to making me feel less like a hoarder!

  22. Deanna

Normally I would go for the 99 centers, but with a gift card I would buy ones from my wish list. So about 4 or 5!

  23. Janice U.

Considering my Amazon wish list is in the 100’s, I will end up doing hours of research before I can decide what books to buy. :)

  24. Wendy V

    I can buy about 25 $0.99 books, 12 $1.99 books, 8 $2.99 books, 6 $3.99 books, and an endless amount of freebies.
