What Angie Loved

Overall Best: The Saint by Tiffany Reisz

It’s impossible for me to say any more good things than I already have about this book and the Original Sinners series. If you haven’t yet read the series, this is your wake-up call: READ THIS SERIES. Start with The Siren, then The Angel -> The Prince -> The Mistress -> The Saint. And with The King coming heh in Nov/Dec, you have time to read them all before he lands in your lap.

Best Guy: Brant in Black Lies by Alessandra Torre

Brant loves with abandon and intensity and sticks with his woman. What girl doesn’t want that in a man?

Best Girl: Em in Devil’s Game by Joanna Wylde

She’s strong, funny, takes no shit, and she makes no apologies. LOVE Em!

Best Sex: Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

I know what you’re thinking: “A Colleen Hoover book has the best sex of the summer?” Yes, friend, it does.

Best Unexpected: Unteachable by Leah Raeder

Seeing that it took me over a year after I bought this book to read it, yes, it’s the best unexpected ★★★★★ book I read this summer.

Most Anticipated Upcoming in 2014: The King by Tiffany Reisz

What Nelle Loved

The Best Book Ever: The Saint by Tiffany Reisz

I know you keep hearing about this book. I know you hear “blah-blah-blah- read The Original Sinners. For real, The Saint by Tiffany Reisz is a masterpiece of literature. We read a lot of books, but this elevates it to heights unseen by our kind.

Most Innovative: The Wedding Dare Continuity Series

The Wedding Dare is an #LikeCandy series of four books that share the same time and location, but follows four different couples. Each book is written by a different author. If you’re looking for light reading for the weekend? Go for The Wedding Dare. Also, there’s a scene in one of those books where sexy stuff happens on a live conference call. This is a treasure!

The One That Got Away: The Wild Side by RK Lilley

I waited for all of The Wild Side to be available before I would pick them up. Now that they’re out, I need a free weekend to plow through them. My colleagues can’t shut up about how hot they are!

Best Cover: TAINT by SL Jennings

Friggin’ A. Mike Thurston as Justice Drake is staring straight at me. And it hits me in the lady parts EVERY TIME! Note to SL Jennings, for Taint 2 (if there is such a thing), get a torso shot.

Second Most Anticipated for 2014: Echoes of Scotland Street by Samantha Young

Why would I give you my second Most Anticipated? Because Angie already hit #1 with The King. Echoes of Scotland Street is the strongest of the series since On Dublin Street. Grown up Cole is the best hero in the series since Braden. Sighhhhh Braden. This book renewed my love for the On Dublin Street crowd.

Adrian NA Mini Banner

What Adrian Loved

Overall Best: The Saint by Tiffany Reisz

There are books, there are great books, and then there are books written by Tiffany Reisz.  The Original Sinners Series is, by far, the best series I’ve ever read.  Hands down.  The end.

Most Likely to Bring the Tears: Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

Nobody writes NA as well as CoHo.  Ugly Love had me ugly crying more than once.  Like rip-you-heart-out-and-stomp-on-it crying.  It was perfect.

Most Shocking Plot Twist: Elicit by Rachel Van Dyken

Definitely my favorite so far in the Eagle Elite Series.  It’s funny and sexy and sweet and violent all rolled up into an exciting story.  And that huge WTF moment? It took my breath away.

Sexiest of the Summer: Ricochet by Skye Jordan

I have yet to meet a hero as sexy as Ryker.  A gorgeous, dirty-mouthed military man who likes to blow stuff up?  Sign me up!!

Most Anticipated Release of Fall 2014 (that is not The King): Raced by K. Bromberg

Because Colton Donovan.  ‘Nuff said.

Theresa Diddle Mini Banner

What Theresa Loved

Overall Best: The Saint by Tiffany Reisz

I can’t  say enough about this series and the latest installment. If you haven’t read them,  I kindly ask…WHY the FLUCK NOT? This book is EVERYTHING! It is EVERYTHING…forever. Love you; mean it, Tiffany Reisz. I am yours…

My “BooHoo, Ugy Cry” Book of the Summer: Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan

Seriously…my surprise book of the summer. I am a smut reader. I admit it. The dirtier the better but Archer and Mia Sheridan swooped in and took ahold of me and my heart and gave it a big squeeze! I LOVED this book. Perfect summer beach read!

My “I Kinda Wanna DO HIM” Book of the Summer: Ricochet by Skye Jordan

Nothing like a Marine with PTSD, muscles, tattoos and a smile that melts your Victorias Secret (does she have a secret?) Cheeky panties off! I super enjoy an angst filled book.

Most anticipated: DUH! The King by Tiffany Reisz

Kingsley Edge… I want you!

Second most anticipated: His Rebel Bride by Shayla Black

Lina Kinky Mini Banner

What Lina Loved

Best Kinky: Show Me, Baby by Cherise Sinclair

Creative, evil Master Jake can light my panties on fire any day. He is now officially one of my favorite Shadowlands Masters.

Most Perverted and Terrifying Master: Michel Lemaitre in Master’s Flame by Annabel Joseph

I both LOVE and am TERRIFIED of Michel Lemaitre. He’s the Master of my dreams and nightmares alike. So sexy, so polished, so perverted, and oh so DOMINANT. Be still my heart.

Most Fun (Also Hot and Rocking) Hero: Mal in Play by Kylie Scott

I have never laughed so hard while reading a book until I met Malcolm. He made me want to pee my pants laughing while throwing my panties at his face.

Best Series I Devoured This Summer: On Dublin Street (Dublin Street Series) by Samantha Young

Sexy ALPHA MALES with Scottish accents, strong plots, and lovely heroines. I loved everything about this whole series–devoured it in record time. I HIGHLY recommend the audiobooks, because Scottish accents are so HOT. (You learn something new every summer.)

Most Anticipated—Kinky: Training Lady Townsend by Annabel Joseph

Most Anticipated—Alpha Biker: Reaper’s Stand by Joanna Wylde

Most Anticipated—Contemporary Alpha Male: Echoes of Scotland Street by Samantha Young

Marissa PNR Mini Banner

What Marissa Loved

Most Unexpected ★★★★ Fantasy Romance:  The Winter King by CL Wilson

I’d read this author’s other series and it was more fantasy than sex between the sheets, but I’m so glad I gave this one a chance because the author definitely gives you lots of romance, suspense and fantasy to satisfy my craving for paranormal romance.

Dear Archer, I’m Sorry I Waited So Long To Read Your Story: Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan

I was told to read this book when it came out. I put it off. I was harassed for 5 months until I broke down, listened to my fellow SBC reviewers, and read this unbelievable story. It was like the sun broke through the clouds and shone down on me, I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing after I was done. I love this book so much, I’ve made it my goal of 2014 to get every person I know to read it.

Most Unexpected New Author/Biker Smut: Incandescent: Knights Rebels MC by River Savage

I found this book after seeing a hot teaser for it, and I may have begged the author to allow me to review it for her. She was very nice and accommodating, and of course, it’s in one of my favorite guilty pleasure genres: biker smut.

Best “Oops, I Fell Into This Series” From a New-to-Me Author:  Boxed Set: Captive Series (Romance Suspense) by JA Dennam

I found this series from a blog tour request for the final book, and the author was generous enough to give me the other books.  I am a tad OCD when it comes to reading books in order, whether they are Stand alones in a series or like this one, intertwined books.  I am so glad I took a chance on this new-to-me author and her series, because I would have missed out on an awesome romantic suspense/mystery plot line.

Most Anticipated Biker Smut Story: Reaper’s Stand (Reapers Motorcycle Club Book 4) by Joanna Wylde

“Drop your panties and read this book now!”  This is what Lina told me to do so that I could join in her love fest for the book about Picnic,  leader of the Reapers MC.  I’m so glad I stopped everything and read it.  In fact, my review starts like this, “I almost have no words for this book because I love it so much.” Make sure you preorder this baby.

Til The End of Time Favorite: How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo

Sometimes something special comes along and snatches up all of your guts and heart and smacks with all the the things you hope and dream to find in a story. This is one of those rare gems.

Best Book Boyfriend EVER: Play (Stage Dive Series Book 2) by Kylie Scott

OMG Mal, I would have ten thousand of your babies. Holy Moses you are ALL THE THINGS. I love you. makes little heart fingers

Perfection: The Saint by Tiffany Reisz

Tiffany Reisz never ever ever lets me down. I have been a huge fan since The Siren, and The Saint blew my mother-cussing mind. Absolute perfection. Her best to date.

Best Feels: Six of Hearts by LH Cosway

I looooooooved this story. Jay Fields is book boyfriend royalty. An honest, sexy and heartwarming MUST READ.

New Favorite Author: Skye Jordan, author of Ricochet: Renegades, Book 3

Mother of God, my panties just burst into flames. I may have been late to the Skye Jordan party, but I am so glad I finally showed up! Gold stars for everyone!

The Foreigner: Love, in English by Karina Halle

This is the softer side of Karina Halle, and holy hell is it beautiful. drops everything and moves to Spain
