Shameless Recommendation

Marissa
This is not your typical daddy/little romance. It’s not a story with over the top baby talk, a whining girl with a man who wants to be called “daddy” 24/7. And I love a good “Daddy” book, so this one hit ALL my buttons.
This is a romance between two consenting adults who like a little something different than most people in their sex lives. And they fight against the attraction, especially with liking the “daddy” role play, until they beautifully give in to their dynamic. It is hot almost from the beginning with a bit of mistaken identity, and plenty of hot bedroom action thrown in while they learn about the relationship and whether they should be together (mostly on the part of Tyler.) I enjoyed Eve’s character development in regards to Tyler and his in-depth soul searching (and a bit of psychological analysis.) He was definitely a tortured hero until he finally gave in to Kate, and realized they could have a “daddy/little” love.

Publisher Synopsis

via Amazon

Just because Kate ‘Middleton’ McGrath, wants a man to call ‘daddy’ in bed doesn’t mean—
Oh, you stopped reading. Cool.
Kate gets it. Kinks aren’t for everyone. Hell, they’re probably not for Mr. Henderson, her grumpaholic boss. She really shouldn’t have a crush on him, but the man is just so goddamn stern. Sure, a lot of that comes down to ‘being her boss,’ but still, it feels like there might be something there.
Tyler Henderson is a golden boy who’s lost his shine. He’s old, his dream career is over, his fiancée’s left him. Now all the former firefighter can do is try and bury his troubles in paperwork and hard liquor. He says ‘try’ because he can’t get Middleton out of his head long enough to wallow properly. He’s not going anywhere near the girl. HR issues aside, he’s done with sweetness and things don’t come sweeter than a cupcake-baking engineer who knits her own hats.
A case of mistaken identity causes Kate and Ty’s attraction to give way to blistering sex. They have more in common—and more to lose—than either of them realized. When it comes to unreasonable attraction you can rarely change your mind but can you act your age?

About Eve Dangerfield

Eve Dangerfield has loved romance novels since she first started swiping her grandmother’s paperbacks. Now she writes her own sexy tales about complex women and gorgeous-but-slightly-tortured men. Her work has been described as Ì¢‰âÂèÏthe defibrillator contemporary romance needs right now,’ and not by herself, or even her mum, but by OTHER PEOPLE.
Eve lives in Melbourne with her boy, a bunch of semi-dead plants and a rabbit named Billy. When she’s not writing she can be found making a mess.

GENRE

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
