Shameless Recommendation

Marissa
I binge-read this trilogy from K.F. Breene in a weekend, and I'm needing more of this couple. It was a great UF/PNR story, with non-stop action you will be turning the pages before you realize it. It had plenty of comic relief mixed in with the danger, suspense, and mystery. Book 1 is the slow burn part of the romance, and then books 2 and 3 you get more of Darius and Reagan as a couple. There is plenty of magic and mayhem mixed in with their romance, but this last book was a perfect mix of what I love about UF/PNR stories: a strong female character, the men who love them, great side characters, and non-stop action.

Publisher Synopsis

via Amazon

The gripping conclusion of the bestselling Fire and Ice Trilogy!

I'd thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business.

I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day.

When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made.

Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root?

I don’t want my friends to die on my behalf. I could never live with myself. But if I venture into the Underworld, it’ll be the most perilous journey of my life.

This time, it isn’t just my life hanging in the balance, it is my eternity.

“I enjoy waking up to you,” he said, pushing his hips upward. I moaned into his kiss, rubbing against him until he was ready, then pausing so we could properly line up.[/su_quote]

About KF Breene

K.F. Breene is a USA TODAY BESTSELLING author of the Darkness Series and Warrior Chronicles. She lives in wine country where over every rolling hill, or behind every cow, an evil sorcerer might be plotting his next villainous deed while holding a bottle of wine and brick of cheese. Her husband thinks she’s cracked for wandering around, muttering about magic and swords. Her kids are on board with her fantastical imagination, except when the description of the monsters becomes too real.

She’ll wait until they’re older to tell them that monsters are real, and so is the magic to fight them. She wants them to sleep through the night, after all.

GENRE

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
