Shameless Recommendation

I was hooked on this romance from their first meeting, which was NOT good. But, it was definitely unique and watching them fall in love in a secluded place before the outside world barged in was magical. Killian was definitely rough and hurting, but Libby’s sweetness helped him sober up and realize his life was missing her in his life. Killian told Libby he fell in love with her over her homemade biscuits and I maybe swooned a bit.
I liked getting to know his bandmates, even if they could be idiots. I can’t wait for their books. They helped add more humor to the story, even though Killian and Libby had some pretty funny scenes together, too. Even though I knew what the big climax was going to be, I’m glad to say the angst doesn’t last long and we get our HFN.

Libby

I found Killian drunk and sprawled out on my lawn like some lost prince. With the face of a god and the arrogance to match, the pest won’t leave. Sexy, charming, and just a little bit dirty, he’s slowly wearing me down, making me crave more.

He could be mine if I dare to claim him. Problem is, the world thinks he’s theirs. How do you keep an idol when everyone is intent on taking him away?

Killian

As lead singer for the biggest rock band in the world, I lived a life of dreams. It all fell apart with one fateful decision. Now everything is in shambles.

Until Liberty. She’s grouchy, a recluse —and kind of cute. Scratch that. When I get my hands on her, she is scorching hot and more addictive than all the fans who’ve screamed my name.

The world is clamoring for me to get back on stage, but I’m not willing to leave her. I’ve got to find a way to coax the hermit from her shell and keep her with me. Because, with Libby, everything has changed. Everything.

“Oh, Libs,” he says softly. “Look how wet you are. That pretty pussy all puffy and pouting for it.” The tip of his finger slides along those swollen lips. “You hurting here?”
“I want you so fuck much. Feels like I’ve always wanted you.” He pulls me close, kisses my mouth. “It’s taking all I have not to just plow into you, fuck the ever-loving hell out of you.”
“Baby doll, I could assert my manly dominance, thump my chest, and declare you’re mine. But it wouldn’t mean a damn thing if I’m not yours in return.”

VIP Series Reading Order

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
