Absinthe by Winter Renshaw
Man, I want to be Halston when I grow up!! Talk about a fierce, bad ass female character. She does no harm, but takes no shit. I loved her. Her growth throughout the story was exponential and watching her go after what she wanted while remaining self aware and true to herself is what I enjoyed most about this book. Well, that and Ford. *Sigh* He was all sorts of Alpha and his struggle with keeping his personal needs separate from his professional life made for a very sexually charged story. I loved the taboo nature of their relationship. Their chemistry was undeniable and OH so hot! The thrill of the forbidden romance kept my heart racing the whole way through. I could not stop reading!
