Shameless Recommendation

You will love Evie and Drew, their romance is combustible. I think my Kindle may have melted a little with the heat. I will admit, I wasn’t sure I’d like Drew because he was kind of a dick to his best friend, and then again to Evie when he first met her. But once Evie and Drew started faking their relationship, he gave in to their chemistry and boy was that fun. I was excited for Drew to win over Evie and make her forget all about her ex. I loved how Stella wrote great backstories for both of them, that showcased what made Drew jaded and Evie believe in love. There were plenty of light-hearted moments to break up the stress of them falling in love, and they were perfectly interwoven with the hot bedroom antics.

Publisher Synopsis

via Amazon

He's the hottest player in Major League Baseball, the most notorious playboy in all of Manhattan...
And my fake fiancé for the next three months.
...

I was drunk-dialing my ex the night I met him.

Six-three, sexy as sin and so incredibly rude I could smack the asshole smirk right off his face. Long story short, we got off to a bad start. But when the tabloids interpret our sparring as Drew Maddox "groveling" with a "mystery brunette," his agent presents us both a proposal:

Shacking up as a couple this summer.

It’s an alleged “win-win.” I need to prove to my ex that I'm fine. Drew needs to prove to his team that he's stable. Thanks to his on-field brawling and never-ending lady drama, Drew Maddox has suddenly found himself on the trade block - which means he needs a fast, easy way to show the team that he's settled down.

Hence this fiance thing.

Our fights are real, our kisses are fake, and thanks to the nonstop heat between us, I’m starting to mix up all my signs. But whether it’s real or fake, there’s one thing I do know:

I’m already addicted.

& More!

I was at the mercy of Drew's mouth as he continued his gentle assault on my nerves, rolling his tongue against me, pulsing it skillfully, till I could hear my own wetness smacking against his mouth.
I loved hearing him get lost in his pleasure, muttering under his breath and switching back and forth between filth and affection. One second, I was his "dirty little girl." The other, I was "so goddamned perfect."
"Christ, you make it so hard not to come right away. I just wanna fill you with my cum, Evie. I want to bend you over this fucking bed and watch it drip from your pussy while I spank your ass."

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
