How does one summarize the last book in her FAVORITE SERIES OF ALL TIME? She doesn't. She dries her cried-out eyes, puts her big-girl panties back on, and pretends the ending didn't actually happen and it wasn't as spectacular as it really was. Because if it was really as good as it actually was, and it came to an end, she would have to throw herself over a cliff. Or never read another book again. How can she go on with LIFE and READING and NORMALCY when her favorite characters are out there living their fantasy lives and she's just sitting here, moping around her everyday life? It's impossible, really. Just, kudos to you, Tiffany Reisz. Gold stars and 5-foot-tall trophies to the best author I've read, the best characters ever written, and most prophetic series brought forth into my life. And now, I'll end my dramatics with a heavy sigh and another tear of emotion over-floweth. [October 2015]

Favorite Quotes

Nora loved Søren. This was an incontrovertible fact of the universe, strong as gravity, inevitable as sunrise.
“No, what do they call a sociopath with a conscience?”
“They call her ‘Mistress.’”
“She isn’t lonely,” Kingsley said. “Not this woman. This is a woman who can walk into any room, find the most handsome face in the crowd, look him in the eyes and know she will take him home with her on a leash.”
“The clit.” Elle sighed. “The only organ on the human body designed solely for pleasure. Proof God is a woman.”
His mouth found hers and the kiss was everything she’d forgotten she needed. He dominated her with the kiss, overwhelmed her, overpowered her. She was on her back on the bed before she knew it had happened. If she’d had any pride or any dignity or any self-control whatsoever she would have stopped it with a word. But she didn’t want her pride and she didn’t want her dignity and God knew she didn’t want selfcontrol. She just wanted him.
He held her down with his hands but she stayed there because of her heart.
She wondered idly what he would do to her if he managed to escape his bonds. Probably a sex act still illegal in thirty-nine states. Too bad she’d tied him up so well.

Never lose sight The Queen Quote

He didn’t tell her where they were going, because it didn’t matter. As long as she never lost sight of Him, she would never lose her way.
“I’ve always wanted to use a whip,” Nora said. “I think I saw too many Indiana Jones movies as a kid. Do you think he was kinky?”
“French Vanilla,” Kingsley said.
“What’s that?”
“Vanilla with a strong libido and a taste for anal.”
Spent now, she considered leaving. Leaving tonight, this minute. Getting up, getting dressed and walking out without another word. He’d fucked her and hadn’t finished to prove a point. When he was inside her it wasn’t his come or his cock she begged for but his pain. If she were to do something so foolish as to fall in love with someone vanilla, this is what she could expect…endless frustration. It would leave her as unfulfilled as her body was right now. It would leave her always wanting more.
Was there anything in the world more erotic than to be in bed with a beautiful man who’d beaten and fucked her while another beautiful man who’d also beaten and fucked her lounged in a chair by the bed, wearing nothing but fitted trousers and reading French erotica to them?
“My cock isn’t huge but it’s tenacious.”
“I’ve never met a tenacious cock before. I look forward to making its acquaintance.”
Pain. Blessed pain. The dead feel no pain, and Nora had never felt more alive than she did at this moment with her heart in her throat and her eyes shedding tears.

Publisher Synopsis
  • Once upon a time, Nora and Søren made a fateful deal—if he gave her everything, she would give him forever. *

  • The time has finally come to keep their promises. *

Out of money and out of options after her year-long exile, Eleanor Schreiber agrees to join forces with Kingsley Edge, the king of kink. After her first taste of power as a Dominant, Eleanor buries her old submissive self and transforms into Mistress Nora, the Red Queen. With the help of a mysterious young man with a job even more illicit than her own, Nora squares off against a cunning rival in her quest to become the most respected, the most feared Dominatrix in the Underground.

While new lovers and the sweet taste of freedom intoxicate Nora, she is tempted time and time again by Søren, her only love and the one man who refuses to bow to her. But when Søren accepts a new church assignment in a dangerous country, she must make an agonizing choice—will the queen keep her throne and let her lover go, or trade in her crown for Søren's collar?

With a shattering final confession, the last link in the chain is forged in The Original Sinners saga. It's the closing chapter in a story of salvation, sacrifice and the multitude of scars we collect in the name of ecstasy—and love.
