Not-So New Adult Book Recommendation: House on Hancock Hill by Indra Vaughn
The House on Hancock Hill by Indra Vaughn
“He began to drive into me at a steady pace. First pain, then pleasure, curled around my spine like a symphony, guiding me higher and higher until I knew I was going to come untouched, and I wasn’t ready.”
“His tone belied the roughness of the fuck, and I realized it was perfect. I needed the physical violence of it, while his words soothed the turmoil in my mind. All of a sudden, I couldn’t hold it any longer, and I knew even his grip wouldn’t be able to stop me now.”
Heat Rating: Molten
Genre: Modern Romance, Gay
I don’t read a lot of M/M stories, but if they’re all like this one, I think I’ve found a new favorite genre. So well written, I fell in love with Jason and Henry and wanted them together from the start. There was so much going on in the story and it flowed so nicely. There was mystery, a little humor, a ton of miscommunication and angst.
Regardless of how you feel about gay romance, this is a fantastic romance novel. It’s about two people who grew up together as best friends. After over a decade apart they pick right back up. Except this time there is fabulously hot sexual tension.
This story is HAWT and incredibly sexy with two wonderful men to swoon over. But the thing that I took away from this book was Indra’s spectacular writing. The words just flow off of the page. Bravo, Indra! I can’t wait to read more from you! (I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.)[/box_light] [box_dark]
I’m a romance junkie and I like my men to be alpha males and my ladies to be quirky and strong. I need the HEA but it’s OK if it takes 2 or 3 or 10 books to get there. Lee Nightingale is my forever BBF.
I’m a professional Mommy with a husband, 2 kids and 3 cats. I love to travel almost as much as I love to read.
