Kissing Lucas Thorn was a poor life choice – it had always been that way.  Why could are kisses never be romantic?  Involving situations where we went out on a normal date?  Where nobody was pissed or drunk or about to get married?
She wiggled against my body, making me lose every ounce of damn patience I’d built up over the course of the night.  Every hour I wanted to break down her door.  And every hour I told myself that it would be a bad idea – giving her the wrong idea that I only wanted her for her body when I wanted her for everything.
