I want to wrap that golden hair around my fist and smash my lips into hers. Make her pay for what she did as I fuck her punishingly from behind.
“How do you want to come then?”

“The only way I’ve ever wanted to. With you inside me.”

I feel a delicate hand rub my thigh, and though I know her attempt is to calm me down, she’s doing the opposite. She’s making my dick hard, and all I want is to fuck her, right here and now, to prove that she belongs to me. Only me.
“You’re so fucking beautiful like this.” We’re sweating and panting, completely animalistic. “Look at them, Briar. Look at them when you come on my cock. Anyone could look up at any moment.” I place my arms on top of hers, my hands covering hers that grip the rail, and I nip at her spine. “They’d act appalled, but they’d go home and jerk themselves off to this image. I promise you that.”

I’m a blemish to their country club lifestyle with my blond lipstick, short shorts, and wild green eyes. I’m the reason they lock their jewelry in safes — despite the fact that I have never and will never steal. I’m the jarring piano note ruining their beautiful symphony.
With your hands gripping the bookshelf and your hair gathered in my fist, I’ll fuck you like the dirty girl you are, demanding your silence and commanding your body in ways no other man has done before.
I also have a weak spot for women with pretty mouths who say naughty things. Love a good contradiction. It goes against everything I stand for in real life. Makes me hard as a fucking rock.

ABOUT IT ENDS WITH US
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000039_00014]

Excerpt

Con finally unlocked the doors and she hefted herself into the massive vehicle. They sat in silence for a while, their breath fogging up the glass. Then he opened his mouth.

“Did he touch you?”

Dulcie knew he wasn’t asking about the homeless man.

“Not in any way that counts,” she replied, turning to look at him. His hands had moved to grip

the steering wheel.

“So he has touched you.”

“Jared was just an experiment, I wanted to see if -”

“You let him fucking touch you.”

You fucking left me!” she was suddenly screaming. He didn’t even flinch, just gripped the steering wheel harder. “You fucking left me in this fucking town, without a goddamn goodbye!  Without a goddamn word! God, you have no idea what it’s been like. That fucking camera, all those drawings. And there’s all these people, and talking, and feeling this way, and all the blackness, and I don’t even know what’s wrong with me, and nothing. You come back, and it’s like nothing to you. Oh hey, Dulcie. Where’s your sketchbook, Dulcie. Come to a party, Dulcie.  Let me just fuck this chick in the woods, Dulcie. So you know what? Yeah, he fucking touched me. I let him fucking touch me. And I hated every minute of it, and I would pretend it was you, and I would hate you, and I would hate myself, and I just let it happen.”

Con lunged across the seat, and absurdly, her first thought was “wow, he’s really fast” before his fingers wrapped around her throat. She wasn’t fazed, though, and she pushed right back, slapping him across the face. This only caused him to clench both hands around her neck and he yanked her forward, dragging her to him so their faces were only inches apart.

“Stupid little Dulcie,” he whispered, his breath hot against her lips. She held onto his wrists and glared at him, but didn’t try to pull away. His fingers got tighter. “So scared of the big bad wolf.”

“I’m not … scared of you,” she managed to gasp out, but then his grip grew so tight he completely cut off her oxygen.

“Of course you aren’t scared of me. I’m not the wolf. You are.”

So that’s what was hiding behind the curtain. I wish you’d told me sooner, Con. We could’ve reveled in our darkness together.

It felt like a weight was lifted off her back. She’d been pretending for so long, and she hadn’t even realized it. Had conditioned herself to do it. It was easier to believe Con was the darkness, and she was simply drawn to it. Basking in his wake. But it was all a lie – she was every bit as dark as him. They were the same animal. She’d just been better at deceiving herself. And now they’d evolved into something else, into a new, higher being. Her lungs were throbbing, screaming for oxygen. She could feel her pulse pounding behind her face. Her mouth was open, but she couldn’t make a sound. Black spots danced in front of her eyes, yet still they stared at each other. Recognizing each other, maybe for the first time ever.

Maybe for the last time.

What a way to die, looking into the face of this beautiful boy. What a gift.

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since …, forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there’s your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can’t understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

The Big List Of Young Adult Books For Smut Book Readers

I like to think of books classified as Young Adult Romance like this: If my 14-year-old daughter picked up this book, she wouldn’t run screaming to bleach out her eyeballs and neither would I.

via Buzzfeedvia Buzzfeed/Warner Bros.

But not all YA book readers are teen girls; all ages of people are picking up these books and enjoying them more than ever before.

Chances are, you’ve read YA. Love the Hunger Games trilogy? Read the entire Divergent series? swoon…Four Twilight lover maybe?

Those books have been going around the readersphere for over 10 years, so we wanted to find out what the New Big Thing in YA is!

I asked around the Smut Muffins hangout to see what they’re reading when they’re not reading hardcore smut.

Young Adult vs. New Adult (via Indies Unlimited)

Young Adult

Characters’ Ages: Usually anywhere from 14 – 18 years of age; Sex: There can be sex in YA novels, but it’s usually only mentioned and the physical details are simply touched on, not given in full detail. If the characters do have sex, the reader is offered more of an emotional ride rather than a graphic painting of the event.

New Adult

Character Ages: Usually between 18 – 25 years of age; Some NA novels are basically erotica, but they don’t have to be. Explicit sex scenes are not a requirement of NA fiction. (S)ome…NA novels that have either no sex or fade to black type situations. (O)ne subtle difference between NA and YA sex scenes is that NA characters are more aware of their bodies. They aren’t afraid to recognize when they are being turned on and they’re more confident in exploring their sexuality.

“So this guy,” I said, standing in the doorway of the living room. “François Rabelais. He was this great poet. And his last words were ‘I go to seek a Great Perhaps.’ That’s why I’m going. So I don’t have to wait until I die to start seeking a Great Perhaps.”
“Don’t you know who you love, Pudge? You love the girl who makes you laugh and shows you porn and drinks wine with you. You don’t love the crazy sullen bitch.” And there was something to that, truth be told.
She taught me everything I knew about crawfish and kissing and pink wine and poetry. She made me different.
We had to forgive to survive in the labyrinth. There were so many of us who would have to live with things done and things left undone that day. Things that did not go right, things that seemed okay at the time because we could not see the future. If only we could see the endless string of consequences that result from our smallest actions. But we can’t know better until knowing better is useless.

Adrian Says:
Fun, light and super sexy story of a Rachael and Jake. They shared a sexy dance together one night and Rachael was sure that Jake was the man of her dreams. Soon after they meet again, when Jake shows up as the other RA in Rachael’s dorm. Because they live across the hall from each other in the dorms and share RA responsibilities, they decide to be friends. That lasts a few weeks until one drunken night Jake declares his feelings for Rachael. Mayhem ensues… miscommunications and misunderstandings keep them apart, then together, then apart again.

This is your typical college romance. They both have baggage but nothing too crazy. The drama and the angst is there but not OTT. Racheal’s BFF Jenna is great, she could totally be my BFF. Jake’s band mates are hot and it looks like we’ll get more of them soon. The sex is off the charts!! Totally hot. This is a great book if you’re looking for something easy, flirty and sexy.

Flirty and entertaining, Fall with Me is a great, easy read. As she is about to graduate from college and start her life, Jenna is dumped by her boyfriend of 3 years, Adam, for her best friend, Lacey. She goes home to lick her wounds and decide what to do next and comes face to face with her high school crush, who just happens to be her ex-Bff’s brother. Together they set out to breakup Adam and Lacey, and at the same time see what could happen between them.

I loved the banter between Jenna and Sutton. It was obvious to everyone that they were made for each other. There was a lot mentioned about Sutton’s womanizing past, but it wasn’t really a developed storyline within the book. They had some serious sexual chemistry and I loved the way they teased each other. It was really sweet. Adam was the perfect douche bag villain that you’ll love to hate. A serious tool. The ending felt a bit rushed but overall this was a sweet, sexy, easy read.

The thought of another man — any other man— roughing her up, holding her down, or fucking her until her legs could no longer bear her weight made him want to smash something with his bare hands. Repeatedly.

Mia is an Ivy League graduate with her life planned out in front of her. But the death of her father has her moving to NYC to settle his affairs and run his cafe. On the flight she meets Will, a gorgeous and slightly neurotic musician. They immediately hit it off. Fate strikes again when Will is looking for a place to live and Mia has a room to rent. Mia decides it’s best to keep their relationship strictly platonic, even though she knows there’s a strong connection.

This is the story of Mia learning to fight for what’s important. Learning to listen to both her heart and her head. It’s sweet, sad and very frustrating. Will is amazing. He never waivers in his love for Mia. He is patient and sweet and is always there for her, even when she pushes him away. This is a beautifully, well-written story of loss and love. There were so many times I wanted to slap Mia and tell her to grow up!! Being in love is a scary thing, and it took her way too long to realize that it’s worth it.

So good!! I loved the first in this series and the follow up did not disappoint!!! Warning!!! This book deals with slavery and rape and is not for everyone. That being said, I absolutely LOVED this story!!! Regan was kidnapped and sold into sexual slavery. Daniel was asked to save her. They both went through Hell to get out of Hell, but found each other in the process. What started out as Stockholm Syndrome ended up in love.

There is so much to this story. It’s about Regan getting over her fears after being kidnapped and raped. It’s about Daniel finding a woman to love after years of searching for his sister. There is mystery, intrigue and suspense. But above all that is the chemistry of Daniel and Regan. They are HAWT together. He is gentle and loving but his dirty mouth is amazingly hot. Have a spare set of panties, ladies because Daniel’s words will melt them.

Marissa Says:
I loved this book, both characters fighting the attraction, finally giving in, then a secret comes between them. And I honestly thought the secret was going to be so crazy (maybe I’m just used to those type of secrets now) that I liked that it wasn’t life or death. It was a shock still, and there was definitely foreshadowing on who it belonged to, but Eden explains it all very well. I don’t like to give spoilers so that is all I’ll say about it. But, I’ll end with one of my favorite quotes of the story from Declan, in his lilting Irish accent: “And now, I don’t care about being so fecking weak, wanting you, loving you… I don’t care about needing you. If that makes me weak, then so be it, if it means you love me too.”[/box_light]

The problem with crazy is that crazy, by itself, has no context. It can be good crazy, bad crazy . . . or crazy crazy—like it was when my ex-boyfriend sung about me on the radio.

Adrian Says:
This story is about Kate coming to terms with the fact that she could die. What’s the point of starting and going on with a life that will be cut short? Then she meets Lachlin. He is so full of life and he teaches Kate that it’s the little things in life that are important.

This story deals with some heavy, real life issues and the tears come more than once. Kate goes through all of the emotions that someone dealing with the possibility of dying of such an awful disease would go through. She’s angry, scared and depressed. But it’s also a beautiful story about learning to love life and not take anything for granted. It’s not all gloom and doom. There are a lot of funny, light-hearted moments in the story. Much like the roller coaster that is real life, we get the good and the bad of life. (I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.)[/box_light] [box_light]

Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorite NA authors out there, and she does not disappoint with Fearless. This is the continuation of Wes and Keirsten’s story and takes place after Toxic. I love these two. They are soul mates through and through… totally meant to be together. They know that life is not guaranteed and they want to live and love like it’s their last day. I love the way that the five friends are there for each other. This novella is sweet, sexy and full of love. So, so good!  (I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.)[/box_light] [box_light]

Adrian Says:
This is a heartwarming story about family, blood or not, and how love can really save a person. Ben and Dylan have been in love since they were kids, but neither would admit it. Ben is home from school for the holidays and they finally get their chance at love. But if Dylan’s brothers, who happen to be Ben’s best friends, find out, there could be trouble.

I loved the Mathews brothers. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to grow up with 4 older brothers, one of them being a twin. Their banter was hilarious. I loved Dylan, her loyalty, her spunk. She wasn’t perfect but she had a lot of love to give to Ben, and it pissed me off that he fought it. This story had everything…..it was funny, sweet, sad and sexy. It had some angst but wasn’t OTT. I enjoyed it from cover to cover.  (I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.)[/box_light]

Adrian Says:
Talk about a roller coaster of emotions… I think I went through every one possible while reading this book. This book is sad, funny, sweet and crazy-sexy hot!!! The things that came out of Blake’s mouth, and Allie’s for that matter, would make anyone blush. Blake and Allie burn up the sheets!! And the walls, and the shower, and the bath tub… you get my drift. Totally emotional and so, so hot at the same time. Bring the tissues and a change of panties. This novella takes place in the time before Allie’s brother, Kyle, leaves for the Marines and is in Wyatt’s POV. Wyatt was Allie’s first love and the reason for her broken heart. Even though I know what’s going to happen, I still cry my eyes out. It gives us insight into what he was thinking about everything we learned in the first book. I have a soft spot for surfers so I knew I would enjoy this book. As with most NA stories, there’s a lot of angst, but this one has some comic relief in the form of a sweet 5-year-old and a sassy best friend. Cole has to fight the walls Camryn has build to protect herself and her son, while fighting his own demons from the past that show up at the same time Carmyn came to town. I loved Cole’s dirty mouth and Camryn’s flirting when she finally decides to give him a chance. There are those moments that I wanted to slap both of them, but that’s what causes the angst that makes me love this genre. After reading the blurb, I knew this book was going to break my heart. I was not wrong. This story was so well-written. I love how the story switches from past to present. We learn all about Wrenn and Tripp’s relationship. We see their love for each other grow as they do. We see Wrenn trying to cope with her loss, while raising three girls on her own. My heart broke for her. Very few books can bring me to tears, but this one did. There was a moment that I had to put the book down for a few minutes and walk away. It was that good. (I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.)[/box_light]
