Amnesia follows Max & Lucy through some twisted, up & down story telling. Max was in an accident that has left him with partial amnesia in which he doesn't remember Lucy at all. The story leads you down one path while planting seeds for a completely different outcome. I guessed what was really going on earlier in the book which made reading the rest a bit anti-climatic, but overall a fun story by this author.

“Who says I want you to stop thinking about kissing me?”
I bit my lip again and watch as his eyes wander to my lips. His own curve up into that beautiful smile I’ve come to love lately.
“Lucy Rhodes, are you asking me to kiss you?”
I flutter my eyelashes. “A lady never tells.”
“Are you going to be okay today? At the therapist?”
My smile fades as I nod. “yeah, Ill be fine. Funnily enough I’ve been fine the past few days with you.”
“Hey, that’s because you’re with me. You know I’m safe. I can’t let anything happen to my Lucy, now, can I?”
I grab his shoulders, smirking. “Are you my big protector?”
“I’m your big everything.”
He kisses my inner thigh and then licks across it. I hiss in a breath. “Fucking sexy,” he breathes, pulling my leg towards him. He trails kisses all the way along my inner thigh until he reaches my pussy. When that first lick comes across my clit, my knees buckle and a moan rips from my lips.
“Relax and enjoy, Lucy, This is all for you.”

I don’t use the term “bully” lightly. However, I have no qualms about using it when it comes to Max Cooper.
Those are just a few of the names I have for him that start with the letter A. I haven’t gotten through the rest of the alphabet ... yet.
From the moment I met Max three years ago, he was nothing but an arsehole. The only reason we put up with each other is because we share the same best friend.
Then, everything suddenly changes when Max is involved in a horrific accident that sets him back three years. He remembers his friends, but here’s the real kicker: He doesn’t remember … me.
At first, I think it must be a cruel joke, but then I see how serious he is. Over time, I get to know the real Max Cooper. The one who can be sweet, funny, and kind. The one who shows me he’s not such an arsehole after all.
Then, the inevitable happens. I fall for him.
Just as things between us begin to balance out, I lose my own equilibrium, and I don’t know why.
But, despite all of this, no one is prepared for the real terror that’s about to unfold.
