BIGHORN (A Wilderness Trail Novel) by Erinn O’Quinn & Nya Rawlyns

Solange says:
If you’re looking for an unusual D/s tale where two alpha-males collide that isn’t only melt-your-socks-off hot but is also exquisitely written, BIGHORN is your poison. These two men, broken for entirely different reasons, meet on the Loneliest Road and start a journey of spiritual healing that requires little said out loud. Truckee’s native heritage runs like a beautiful golden thread throughout this whole story. Highly recommended.

Favorite Quote:
“His heart nearly exploded from the ache of watching his own colors fade from the black desperation to the possibility of purity.”

Heat Rating: Molten
Genre: BDSM, Erotica

Home TeamHome Team by Jameson Dash

Solange says:
Fifteen years ago Aaron chose pro hockey over love. Now with a career-ending mistake behind his teeth and a team of rookies under his nose, he finds himself back in Zach’s path. Or rather, Zach blocks his path (in the locker room. with his mouth. *ahem*) While this tale has all the potential of an angst-fest, it’s not. If you are looking for a light-on-the-bitter, lots-of-sweet story, Home Team won’t disappoint. Couldn’t put it down once I started.

Heat Rating: Molten
Genre: Erotica, Modern Romance

Life Over EasyLife, Over Easy by K.A. Mitchell

Solange says:
What’s that? You want more smut? Speak up, I can’t hear you over all the hot sex in this book.
Don’t get me wrong, the story told in Life, Over Easy is poignant and very well-executed. A fall ends an Olympic diving career for John, vertigo and vision problems making him crawl into his shell.
Until some epically bad sex draws him out of  it. Mason has his own issues you see, the ghost of a dead boyfriend haunting him in more ways than one. But the road to self-healing is apparently paved with lots and lots of orgasms. Once they start to get it right, anyway.

Favorite Quote:
“So could we maybe do this again sometime? I promise…” not to pass out on your dick? “…it’ll be better.”
John blinked and then smiled. “I don’t think so.”

True ColorsTrue Colors by Clare London

Solange Says:
You’ll have to excuse me, because I can barely get a coherent sentence on paper after reading this book. I’m not afraid to say True Colors is one of my all time favorites. Zeke and Miles are opposites in every sense of the word. One is a grieving artist in serious self-destruct mode, the other is a hard-as-nails business man who gets what he wants, don’t matter who he steps on along the way. When they collide, boy, sparks are a-flying. And not only is the result oil-on-fire hot, the descriptions of the art in this book are just as tantalizing as these two men fighting to fit together.

Favorite Quote:
“Why do you hate him like this?” asked Miles.
Zeke didn’t even bother to deny it. It was a relief to speak it, after all. “I don’t know. I’m afraid to remember him—but I’m afraid when I forget about him, even for a few hours.”

Heat Rating: Nuclear
Genre: Erotica, Modern Romance
Series: Part of a Series – three short smutty additions

Hi. My name is Angie, and I’m a social-media-and-smut-book-reading addict. Hi… Angie… I’ve been working hard on the magical internet since 2006 when I retired from teaching elementary school to stay at home with my two baby girls. Now, I am a smut peddler. You can follow my nonsense on Twitter and Facebook. Simply, I’m just a girl, looking at the book world, asking it to love her.
