Sweet lady mother of pearl, I loved this book. Alessandra had a lot to live up to after I gave another of her books, Sex, Love, Repeat, 5-stars because she's once again bringing a controversial situation to us with the "cheating" storyline. I know some of you refuse to even start a book that has even a hint of cheating, so this is specifically for you guys: READ. THIS. BOOK. For serious.
Look into my baby blues — hold on, let me take off my glasses — and listen to the words that are coming out of my face: READ. THIS. BOOK.
Trust me. Black Lies is so well-written, so undeniably sexy, so mind-twisty and lovely and tear-jerky and so much more than you expect.
Whoa….
Ok, that was not what I expected. Not what I expected at all. Whoa… There is little I can say about this book without ruining it for you, other than to say: Mind fuckery. Layana is in love with two men, but trust me, you haven't read this story before. Alessandra Torre continues to surprise me with every new story and this one… well you'll just have to read it yourself.
Mind: Fucked.
Emotional, sexy, twisty brilliance.
Black Lies, indeed. ~KJ

Ways that will make your legs tremble around my neck. Ways that have me so hard and ready that I may not make it all the way there. Ways that will have you screaming my name...
This was for him, and that made it for me, knowing that the loss of his control was a gift, a rarity that I was one of the few to see.
