If I hadn’t known this was written by 2 authors, I would be shocked to hear it after I read the book. The writing was practically seamless, going back and forth between Tessa and Eve. I think the biggest hint which chapters were Eve’s, was where all the Aussie lingo was cracking me up in the heroine’s voice. Tessa brings her signature dirty-talking hero, though he brings a whole new meaning to the strong and silent type. His words pack a punch when he does utter them, though. Both Tessa and Eve got some tears from me with scenes they wrote, and I was not expecting that type of reaction with this book. But these 2 characters just suck you in with their drama, and heartache, and learning to love again with each other. Plus, Autumn has a specific kink she’s never been comfortable enacting and Blake is the perfect man to help her try it out. Yes, I did just sigh in my love for these characters. I really hope there’s another collaboration in the future because I’ll be at the front of the line to read it.
So what happens when you combine Dirty talker extraordinaire Tessa Bailey with Funny AF Aussie Eve Dangerfield? You end up with an amazing book that leaves laughing so hard that you snort to reaching for the nearest toy!

Her insanely monosyllabic date was apparently some kind of filth wizard, taking nothing and spinning it into pure gorgeous filth.
"You're going to get on your knees for me, wet me down so I can slide into your pussy nice and smooth. You got that?"
"Listen carefully. You're here to be my personal fuck princess. I'm going to take you as hard and as often as I want and any enjoyment you get out of it will be an accident."

Synopsis
Secret aspiring comedian Autumn Reynolds is a girl gone...not wild exactly. More like lazy. Since her boyfriend abandoned her in New York City for a bunch of improv groupies she’s had two priorities; sucking the nitrous out of whipped cream cans and making sex comics about her mysterious landlord.
Blake hates people—and sunlight—with good reason. Imagine his surprise when he finds himself lusting after his upstairs tenant, a sunny, Australian people pleaser down on her luck. Turns out his ability to terrify with a single scowl comes with an advantage. Autumn seems to like it. A lot. As evidenced by the prisoner-captive comic Blake was never meant to see.
As they embark on a three-date arrangement the rules are clear; filthy, ground breaking sex, no feelings or commitment required. When chemistry is this strong, though, attachment follows. As Blake and Autumn attempt to negotiate their New York romance, their prior histories and secret dreams come to the foreground. How long can these polar opposites remain Captivated, when all signs point to disaster?
