I am head over heels in love with this book. Not just Judge and Chloe, but the entire extended family. I already know this series is going to be epic! Judge and Chloe start off hating each other, but opposites attract, and before long, they can't deny the chemistry. There's a lot of sweet, romantic moments, a lot of heat and a ton of family drama. Chasing Serenity is a KA novel through and through and her fans will adore it...the family ties, the love and the sexiness explode off the pages. I'm already invested in the secondary characters and I can not wait to see how their love stories unfold.

"We need to have our official first date so we can make love after it and get that out of the way so I can fuck you."
"I barely know you, and I know I want to explore a future with you. You fascinate me. You turn me on. You piss me off. You make me laugh. You're completely predictable, and you surprise me all the time. I could stare at you for hours, but I'd rather kiss you for days."
"Thank fuck every woman I was ever with blew it, so I'd end up right here, right now, with you." He touched his mouth to mine. "The best," he touched our lips again, "for last."

From a very young age, Chloe Pierce was trained to look after the ones she loved.
And she was trained by the best.
But when the man who looked after her was no longer there, Chloe is cast adrift—just as the very foundation of her life crumbled to pieces.
Then she runs into tall, lanky, unpretentious Judge Oakley, her exact opposite. She shops. He hikes. She drinks pink ladies. He drinks beer. She’s a city girl. He’s a mountain guy.
Obviously, this means they have a blowout fight upon meeting. Their second encounter doesn’t go a lot better.
Judge is loving the challenge. Chloe is everything he doesn’t want in a woman, but he can’t stop finding ways to spend time with her. He knows she’s dealing with loss and change.
He just doesn’t know how deep that goes. Or how ingrained it is for Chloe to care for those who have a place in her heart, how hard it will be to trust anyone to look after her…
And how much harder it is when it’s his turn.
