The continuation of Cress's story brings the reader deeper into the world of the fae, and it is one bumpy ride!!! The twists and turns make this book difficult to put down. Learning more about the fae men is enticing, and watching Cress bumble her way through Court politics is equal parts endearing and heart wrenching. Orion, Sorrell, and Roan are mysteries that beg to be unraveled, and the new cast of characters introduced in this book are so much fun to hate! I cannot wait for book three of this series!!! (Book two does end with a cliffhanger, so if you need to wait for book three to get the series, I will let you know when it's out.)

Orion's tongue dove deep, swiping against the bundle of nerves there as one hand gripped the one side of my ass and parted my cheeks to make way for him to push two fingers into my channel. I whimpered into Roan's mouth, his tongue dueling with mine as I was pressed back to that cliff from earlier and sent careening over it.

My body began to buck and writhe under their ministrations as Roan's hands found my nipples and rubbed them between his thumbs and forefingers. The didn't stop. They didn't give me another second to breathe.

His movements were strong and sure, slowly working me to a different peak. We continued like that for what felt like forever, as though we existed in our own little universe, until suddenly neither of us could wait any longer.

Synopsis

Found. Desired. Changeling.

The Court of Frost is not meant for the feint of heart - or for a bumbling changeling and her human friend. Cress has found herself plopped smack dab in the middle of Alfheim, otherwise known as the Realm of the Fae. Which wouldn’t be such a bad thing - considering she has finally proven herself to be one of them - except she’s brought along her best friend who is most certainly 100% human.

A spur of the moment announcement from Prince Roan, leaves Cress and the two remaining court heirs in a mess of a situation. As a potential crimson princess, Cress must somehow find a way to get through intercourt politics without getting herself - or her friend - killed.

Only one person can play the game of Fae politics better than anyone else. If she wants to survive, Cress is going to have to rely on the one prince she hates the most - the Prince of Frost.
