This book was AMAZINGLY hot and uniquely twisted. Sadie finds herself in a very unusual contract with Vandal and before she even realizes it, she is knee deep in some sort of sadistic, kinky writing research project with him and Zero. I know it sounds weird, but it is SO good! She is torn between her obsession with Vandal and wanting him all over her all the time, and hating his derogatory, assholeness that he unleashes on her. There is a lot of push and pull in this story -“You hate me, and yet you still want me to fuck you.” Even though Sadie agrees to be part of this bizarre writing "project", some of the "scenes" are insanely intense and not for those who may be triggered by abusive scenarios. Sorcha Black really pushes you over the edge with this book.

About This Book
Instead of being captive and afraid, I was deliciously trapped. I melted against him, my breasts pressing against hard chest as I stood on tiptoe to deepen the kiss. God, it was good.
Dirty girl. You like being a captive.
You smell like you did when you escaped from my basement—like a horny little bitch in heat. I like this about you, at least. You’re not a girl who likes to be treated with respect, which is good because you won’t get any from me.
How can my favorite author be such a suspicious alphahole?
All I wanted was an autograph, but Vandal Stokes is livid when he finds me on his property. The sketchy contract he makes me sign traps me alone with him and his gorgeous friend, Zero, for months.
While we adjust to the awkwardness, Zero volunteers to be my writing mentor and assists me with my unsettling research. Vandal can’t resist getting involved, and the tension between the three of us ignites.
Our situation feeds into my most sinister fantasies.
Two against one.
A dark basement.
One torrid summer could very well change my life—and me—forever.
