I usually read anything by K Webster. As a fan of the dark and taboo, it usually doesn't get any better for me than her. This book was not dark, but it took on a life of its own. Dane is such an alpha, it radiates off the page. He is masculine and powerful even when going through a tough time. Nick is an alpha in his own way but I loved how sweet he tried to be towards Dane. They play off each other so well and I really enjoyed how the story focused on their love & support for one another as they began exploring life together. There is no doubt about the way they crave each other. HOLY HELL! The story is complex with a lot of different angles but it plays out beautifully.

Our Favorite Quotes

My chest aches as I realize Nick makes me feel something deep inside me that’s never existed before. Something strong. Something that grows by the day. Something that will ultimately consume the both of us if we’ll let it.

I let him ravage me like he so desperately craves, and then his ragged breaths become moans.

β€œHave you ever had your cock sucked by a man?”
β€œNo.”
β€œThe answer is not yet.”
β€œI’m not gay."
β€œThe answer,” he breathes against my lips, β€œis not yet.”

Synopsis

I’m used to being in charge.
In the courtroom. In life. In the bedroom.
But then I met him.

He brings me literally to my knees.

Handsome. Charismatic. Sexy as hell.
He’s everything I desperately crave to possess.

I’m burning to get him beneath me just to have a taste.
Turns out, though, one taste isn’t enough.
And he’s starved for me too.

Two alphas fighting for dominance.
He thrives on control and I can’t give it up.

A battle of wills.
The bedroom is the battlefield and our hearts are on the line.

I read. I create. I get in trouble. That is me in a nutshell. I live in a snarky, artistic, eclectic world where BDSM and Dark Erotica are high on my reading list. I yearn for a really raw, gritty book where the lead guy/girl is more like a villain and I am left completely mindf*cked. The more the usual lines of morality are blurred, the better. I am an Alice in Wonderland Freak, an Edgar Allan Poe lover and an ocean addicted mermaid. I like originality when it comes to my books. The dirtier, the better.
