There is so much that goes down in this twisted book. Right from the start I will warn you this is not a romance tale. There is no love and there is no passion. There is messed up sex, and kidnapping and all kinds of dark aspects to this story. As a recovering drug addict, Faith is trying as hard as she can to move on with her life and start fresh but once Ryker gets his hands on her, there is no telling where she will end up. The ending of this book was full of intensity and stress and the cliffhanger had me asking WTF?!? I am talking cults, lies, sexual tension, depravity and a whole lot of evil. If you are into the darker side of erotica, this is a great series to start. Anxiously awaiting the second part of this story!

Standing before me bathed in fluorescent red with an angel at his back, he looked like some kind of god.
I curled my fingers into fists, feeling something else stir within me, something wrong and entirely inappropriate.
He finally glanced away from me, the smallest smirk playing across his lips as if he knew exactly what I was experiencing.
Your body is a gift, a treasure I plan to appreciate for a very long time. Don't be ashamed of what we do together when I know how much you like it.
"Don't be ungrateful, Faith. Pissing me off is the last thing you want to do. I can make you scream just as loud in pain as I can pleasure." He captured my mouth in a brutally possessive kiss, biting at my lips until they bled.
