THIS is the KA we know and love! Since Rock Chick is one of my favorite series ever, it's no wonder I love a spin-off. Seeing my favorites at Fortnum's totally made me smile. Dream Maker has that old-school KA vibe, but the story is fresh and fun. No one writes an alpha hero like Kristen Ashley. No one. Mag is everything I love in a hero. He's confident and sexy and sweet and has no problem letting his feelings for Evie show. And Evie....what's better than a nerdy stripper? The best thing in this book is the sisterhood, and this new generation of Rock Chicks might give the originals a run for their money. So much fun!!

His eyes moved over her face thinking that he already knew he could fall in love with this woman. What he was figuring out was he was about to head into free fall. And he was not going to reach out a hand to grab hold of anything. It was coming clear he was good to just...Drop
His gaze changed, it was an amazing change I felt in amazing places, it shifted to my mouth, and I felt that too, it was also amazing, and last, he murmured, "Baby." "I'm not your baby," I breathed. His gaze shifted back to my eyes, and he rumbled, all sexy, hot and sweet, "Oh yeah, you are."
"Jesus," he groaned, his hands now at my hips, thumbs digging into my hip bones, his gaze hot and bothered and roaming all over me. "Taste you. See you. Feel you. Smell you. Too much. Stop playing and claim that, Evie."

Synopsis
Two broken hearts find love and healing in each other in this sexy contemporary romance spin-off from the New York Times bestselling author of the Rock Chick and Dream Man series.
Evan "Evie" Gardiner has spent her whole life being the responsible one in her family, but enough is enough. It's time to pursue her own dreams. Evie's finally going to finish that engineering degree she's been working toward. But first she needs to come up with the money to pay for tuition. Working as a dancer at Smithie's club seems like the perfect solution to her problems . . . until her family lands in yet another scrape and comes to Evie for help. Only, this time, her family's recklessness is risking more than her dreams-it's endangering her life.
Daniel "Mag" Magnusson knows a thing or two about desperation and disappointment, but no one notices that his good looks and quick wit hide the painful memories that haunt him. When Evie's family puts her in danger, Mag insists on offering Evie his protection. He has the skills to guard Evie's life, but as they grow closer, Mag realizes he'll need to come face-to-face with his demons to prove himself as the man who will protect her heart.
