Over and over, Maggie reminds us that bad things will happen. Yet even though I know they're coming, I couldn't stop moving forward, just like Maggie did. I was pretty much destroyed over memories from my own young-in-love experiences of wanting to be the savior. Being caught up in a destructive relationship is hard as an adult, but as a teenager, it's multiplied in its struggles. Through major emotional ups and downs, Maggie and Clayton have their own bubble of co-dependency that ended with me hanging on what was to happen in the next book. A GREAT read. [April 2013]
