I’m not really a zombie fan, personally. Gore isn’t my thing either. But after reading Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive (holy hawt rock stars) series, I needed more Kylie, so I bought me some zombie ménage erotica. Don’t worry, though, [SPOILER] there’s no zombie sex (maybe not much of a spoiler).

Having said all that, I absolutely loved this book. The story moved along at a quick pace, it was action packed, but not overdone. There was gore, but I didn’t lose my lunch over it. I did lose some sleep; not from nightmares, though, but because I couldn’t stop reading. And the love story was intense and sweet all at the same time. It’s not just hot sex and ménage (there is definitely hot sex and ménage), but there’s more too—we get to watch the main characters grow and adapt to this new world and find love, trust, and friendship among the chaos and violence, and treachery. And the banter—the banter alone is worth the flashes of gore. But then, Kylie Scott just has a way of being funny in any situation, which is pretty much why this is a super high recommend for my adventurous paranormal and ménage lovers. [August 2014]

Ali has been hiding in an attic since civilisation collapsed eight weeks ago.

When the plague hit, her neighbours turned into mindless, hungry, homicidal maniacs.

Daniel has been a loner his entire life. Then the world empties and he realises that being alone isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Finn is a former cop who is desperate for companionship, and willing to do anything it takes to protect the survivors around him.

When the three cross paths they band together; sparks fly, romance blooms in the wasteland and Ali, Daniel and Finn bend to their very human needs in the ruins of civilisation.

Lust, love and trust all come under fire in Flesh as the three battle to survive, hunted through the suburban wastelands.

This story is rated "Hot" (4 out of 5 flames) and contains M/F/M and F/M pairings.
