Guard of Honor introduces Tracie Delaney's Intrepid Bodyguard Series, and it does not disappoint. The chemistry between Mack and Honor is off the charts, and the twists and turns keep you guessing throughout the book. I thought I had it figured out, but the final twist threw me for a loop anyway. I laughed and cried along with Honor and Mack as they overcame their damages together. I am really looking forward to the rest of this series, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new!

Sweeping soaking hair over her shoulder, his lips traveled along her nape, her shoulder. His teeth nibbled her earlobe. Electricity sizzled through her veins, her nerve endings coming alive beneath his touch. He eased a knee between her thighs and parted them. And then his fingers were there...

The head of his cock pressed against her entrance, and he drove inside, faster and harsher than their previous encounters. His fingers dug into her hips, and as he thrust forward, he pulled her back.

Arching her back, she pushed her hips forward, greedily seeking more. Mack nipped at the inside of her thigh, and she yelped. His large hand clamped over her stomach, and he forced her down onto the mattress. "Behave. I'll set the pace, not you."

A woman on the edge of insanityβ€”or is something far more sinister at play?

A year ago, Honor Reid was kidnapped and held hostage for seventeen days. Freed in a ransom drop gone wrong, her ordeal has lasting consequences. Despite round-the-clock security, she lives in fear of her abductor returning to finish the job.

Royal Marine veteran, Aiden β€œMack” McKenzie is struggling with his own demons. He isn’t interested in a babysitting job on the other side of the Atlantic, especially for a damaged billionaire heiress who point-blank refuses to leave her house.

When the man Mack owes his life to pleads with him to take the job, Mack reluctantly agrees. However, he gets more than he bargained for when he finds himself drawn to the woman he’s bound to protect.

Within days of his arrival, strange things start to happen, and Mack must face up to the possibility that the woman he’s falling for is not all she seems.
