Zeke and Jubilee’s story was the quintessential “boy pulls girl’s hair because he secretly likes her” romance. They don’t give in to the chemistry until they are on their own in a new town, but even both of their parents have thought they’d get together. Even though they both felt guilty starting to love each other, Lani Lynn Vale adds plenty of humorous and sweet scenes to help overshadow that. Plus, I enjoyed the friends and family dynamics that Lani Lynn always adds to her stories, you always love the secondary characters and hope for their books in the future.

"Because being this close to you ... touching you all the time? It's slowly wearing down my resistance. There's no more fight in me. I'm all yours."

"Who were we kidding?" I said in between breaths. "We were never going to be able to fight this now that we know what we're missing."

"I need you to fuck me really quick. I haven't been able to come on my own since I left you."

From The Publisher

Zee + Annmarie and Tan + Jubilee.

Forever. No exceptions.

They were to have the picture-perfect life together. Everything was all planned out.

Jubilee was to marry Eitan and Ezekiel was to marry Annmarie. That’s how it was always supposed to be from the moment that they met. Textbook, right?

Eitan and Annmarie die in a freak accident that never should have happened, leaving the two survivors reeling.

Sixteen years later, Jubilee and Zee can’t even be in the same room with each other before things begin to deteriorate. Too many memories. Too much pain. Not enough forgiveness.

They’re like hellfire and holy water, and neither one of them is willing to admit that they’re wrong.

Then one day things change, and all of a sudden, they’re looking at each other like maybe they aren’t each other’s enemies after all.

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
