One of my favorite things is discovering a "new to me author" that hits all my "must haves" in the first book of theirs I pick up! India Adams gave me a story that included darkness, suspense, passion, sex and character depth. I loved Bors & Ivy's story. There are some really deep and twisted moments. If you are not a fan of a darker themed read, you may want to steer clear (triggers include beatings, blood, torture). If you can get past those aspects, you will find that this is really a story about hope and redemption. Two people who are so traumatized from their pasts, that they cannot even see the light in the dark, even when it is shining right in front of them. I enjoyed the development of their characters, individually and together, and I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

About This Book
And she slammed her lips to mine. I had no idea where her mouth had been, and I didn’t care. The kiss felt full of desperation and hunger for relief. Her lips were asking so much of me with the greedy touch. My mouth opened with no hesitation. I wanted to taste her so fucking bad, it was making me mad. We both moaned as our tongues crossed paths, searching for a resolution only the lost could understand.
She moaned. “Yes. Touch me.” Her hips slowed then stopped as I felt the cold blade again. I growled as I experienced another cut, then groaned relief as vigorous movement distracted me. This time, she almost brought me to a climax. My hips fought underneath her to take control and fuck her, but then she stopped. I squeezed her thighs as the blade sliced me.
I’ve had rough, I’ve had downright cruel, but I had never been kissed as gently and as lovingly as my assassin kissed me that night.
Bors is hungry for revenge after one of his assignments spins out of control. Not only is he tortured by the man he was hired to murder, the president of a notorious and ruthless motorcycle club, but he’s also left in the care of the man’s deranged daughter, Ivy. And she knows exactly who is chained and at her mercy, the one she has wanted dead for three years.
During captivity, Bors witnesses what has become of Ivy’s life, and finds himself trapped between hatred and sorrow for his female tormentor.
“It only took one day for me to hate her more than my worst enemy.
Only took two to start planning her death.
And only three… to fall in love with her.”
Bors is an avenger. Especially Ivy’s.

India R Adams is either hiding away and writing in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina, in a studio writing and recording songs for the Forever series, in yoga trying to find her Zen (that keeps escaping her), walking down an old dirt road (no joke), outdoors with her dogs and family (because to live without the sun is a crime), in a coffee shop talking books, or floating in a lake (when the weather permits). She thinks reading books is the answer to all problems (and having a glass of red wine is a fabulous second solution). She loves to chat with readers because she says they are brilliant and most passionate.
