I love Maria Luis’ writing style, her characters, and this romance does not disappoint. Dominic and Aspen had plenty of things to work out before coming together, but the slow-burn was so worth it. Dom was a dirty talker who loved to keep Aspen on the edge, he hated being predictable. Aspen was a strong woman and mother who parried with Dom in hilarious conversations. They were both starting over in a small town, and I loved that Maria had these two characters never lie and be as open as they felt they could be during the beginning of the relationship. We didn’t get their whole backstory of what they went through immediately, Maria would work in snippets as Dom and Aspen started to fall in love. And she wrote a great “evil” ex-husband that had the perfect moniker of Rick the Prick. I highly recommend signing up for the epilogue novelette that Maria has at the end of the book, it’s the perfect ending for this couple.

"If I want to pin you down, I'll do it with my hands locked around your wrists. If I want to see your ass turn pink, I'll skip the paddle and use my palm."

She's spitting venom and I'm hard as a fucking rock, and if that doesn't prove that I'm not quite right in the head, then I honestly don't know what does.

I moan into his mouth when his hand slips farther south to cup me right there, where I'm hot and needy, and oh, God, he needs to warn a girl before he goes straight for the grand prize.

From The Publisher

I had it all.
The Super Bowl rings.
The hot shot TV gig.

Then I got fired.

Now I’m living in middle-of-nowhere Maine, playing assistant coach to the woman of my nightmares.

Did I mention that she and her son are my new neighbors?

If you talk to the locals, they’ll tell you Aspen Levi is the queen of high school football.
But if you ask me, my new head coach is a pain in my left nut sac.

She’s too blonde.
Too peppy.
And way too sexy for my peace of mind.

Only, one minute we’re fighting, and the next I can’t keep my hands off her. One hot kiss. One forbidden touch. I don’t do love but . . .

What I want, I take, and what I want is Aspen Levi.

KISS ME TONIGHT is a steamy slow burn romance. It's the second book in the highly anticipated series, Put A Ring On It, and can be read as a standalone.

Put A Ring On It Series

Maria Luis is the author of sexy contemporary romances, though she may or may not have a few historical romances hiding in the cobwebs of her computer.

When she’s not writing about strong men and the sassy women who sweep them off their feet, Maria is a historian who specializes in medieval England and 19th century New Orleans. What do the two eras have in common, you ask? Not much, except for disease, scandalous activities and crime–Maria’s favorite topics.

Maria lives in New Orleans with her better half, where she can generally be found hiking with her two dogs, Zeus and Athena, kayaking in Louisiana’s inter-coastal waterways, or curled up on the couch with a good book.

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
