I stumbled upon this book and was super intrigued once I read the synopsis. I quickly blew through A Boy Called L and then dove right into Lightning Boy. Wow! What a crazy tale. L has had a traumatic, hard life. He has fought to survive and live and his struggle is a dark, twisted one. Eden plays a huge role in supporting his journey and while I enjoyed her character, L stands on a pedestal of his own. Their chemistry radiates off the pages and they have intense, wild sex. Their passion is consuming at times but I thought it fit into the story well. The book tells a lot about survival and owning who you are. A darker, emotional read to the very end.

It's a massive turn on for him, this watching business. Seeing his fingers move in and out, coated in my juices. I can tell how badly it affects him, because he begins to shake.

Her lips move, her tongue soft against mine. I give a blissful sigh into her mouth. Yes. This is what I need. Only this feeling. Only her.

Maybe I should take you home with me. Tie you to my bed forever. I'd even bring you food. I'd cook for you... then I'd fuck you.
