Lost To You and Take This Regret by A. L. Jackson

Our Recommendation

First, you must read Lost To You before you read Take This Regret. Though they were published out of order, now that the prologue (Lost To You) is published, it makes Regret SO much better.

It's not really hard to read through goosebumps but it is really hard to read through tears. Good LORD, this is an amazing love story *slash* prologue to an even more emotional follow-up book.

I cried my damn eyeballs out of my damn face while reading both of these damn books. So much damn regret and sorrow and hurt and emotion is wrapped up in these books, it makes it hard, yet at the same time easy, to love these characters. I know that doesn't really make sense, but my brain is so mushed up from crying all damn day from this book, I just want to say READ THESE BOOKS. But be prepared to sob uncontrollably if you have a heart.

Lost: People come into our lives. Some stay, and many go. Some build us up, while most tear us down. They become our friends, our enemies, our lovers, our tormentors. Christian Davison came into mine, and I knew I'd never be the same.
Regret: A promise to love her forever. A betrayal she could never forgive. A change of heart that leaves her questioning everything she thought she believed. Can she forgive someone who has committed the unforgivable? Or are there some wounds that go so deep they can never heal?

Hi. My name is Angie, and I’m a social-media-and-smut-book-reading addict. Hi… Angie… I’ve been working hard on the magical internet since 2006 when I retired from teaching elementary school to stay at home with my two baby girls. Now, I am a smut peddler. You can follow my nonsense on Twitter and Facebook. Simply, I’m just a girl, looking at the book world, asking it to love her.
