This was my first Misadventures book, and it will not be my last, because #Shameless18 author, Helen Hardt, did not disappoint. There's lust at first site between the main characters - Jett, a rock star, and Heather, a struggling screen-writer - but Jett has a secret that makes him unavailable to her. Their chemistry is too hot to be denied, though, and their story is a lot of fun to watch play out. There are a lot of hot scenes with some of the supporting characters as well, which adds to the sexiness of the story. This is a great book that I highly recommend!

"Sorry, Jan. That pussy's mine." And then... heaven. His tongue wasn't as long as Janet's, but it was rougher and wider. And as soon as it touched my clit, I burst into orgasm.

The orgasm surged through me, along with ecstasy I had never known. As my cock pulsated, so did every cell of my body, so did my thundering heart. When I finally stopped convulsing, she moved backward a bit, my cock, still hard, falling from her mouth.

Then, though my original plan had been to unbind her, turn her over, and kiss the rest of her, I could wait no longer. I straddled her and shoved my hard-as-rock cock deep into her succulent heat. Sweet heaven.

From The Publisher

Heather Myles isn’t exactly thrilled to accompany her groupie roommate to an Emerald Phoenix concert. The aspiring screen writer would rather be home with a good book. After Susie pleads with her, though, Heather relents. What the heck? Maybe a change of scenery is just what she needs to combat her desolation over getting turned down by yet another small production company.

After the performance, Jett Draconis, lead singer and guitarist for the band, isn’t up for the party scene. He’s grown tired of being mauled by horny devotees…until an auburn-haired goddess catches his eye. Though she initially rebuffs his advances, he’s determined not to take no for an answer. Sparks erupt between him and Heather, but Jett knows better than to fall in love. A secret from his past could destroy him―and everyone close to him―if he does.
