Just when I thought I had this world figured out, along came the twists that blew my mind. The characters made me fall in love with them, and the ending made me wonder when the next book was coming out. Novak is one of the most interesting characters that I have read in a long time, but Auric is also a new book boyfriend for me. Layla grows a lot, from a sheltered Princess into a future Queen, and it's wonderful to watch. There's never a dull moment in this book, and by the time I was done, my brain was spinning with all of the possibilities. I cannot recommend this series enough!!!
