First of all, the heroine in this book is a yoga instructor whose character is actually really well written (unrealistic ones are this yoga instructors pet peeve)... can I get an AMEN?!?! Secondly, heartwarming, heart wrenching, soul connected, second chance romance... HELL YES! This book had feeling, it had some really great LOL moments, it had angst and an obstacle you weren’t sure how was going to play out, but best of all it had a stubborn, sexy, tattoo artist, swoony hero who, no matter the outcome of the love story, you’ll root for him to win! Melanie Harlow writes the best stories <3

"I don't even know if there's a point to that. The past is the past. The point is to take responsibility for the way we treat others. Actions have consequences."
"You're a fucking mess. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but let me tell you what to do."
"Maybe it was crazy. Maybe it made perfect sense. Maybe love was a game of chance, played at the whims of Cupid, as random as the roll of the dice. Or maybe it was a story written in the stars, about a boy and a girl whose hearts wouldn't rest until they were together again."

He was my first crush, my first kiss, my first everything.
So when he shows up out of the blue asking me to have dinner with him "for old time's sake," I say I will. After all, it's been twelve years since he broke my heart, and I'm totally over him, no matter what my sisters say.
Except . . . he still does something to me. He's got those eyes that make me weak, those hands that drive me wild, and a body I can't resist--especially once I see the tattoos. It doesn't take long for our trip down memory lane to go from sweet to sizzling.
We're just as good together as we were back then--better, even--but he's hiding something from me, something that has him convinced it's too late for us. He says I should forget him and find someone else, someone better.
How can I convince him that sometimes your first love deserves a second chance?
