Mafia romance always intrigues me. It is one of the reasons I love dark romance so much. The grit and grime of it all. You never know what to expect and when I read about a big, strong, alpha male bending to the will of an innocent, uncorrupted woman, it makes me weak in the knees. I actually read Aleks first encounter with Clara several times. It is so raw and thrilling. The way he describes his draw to her. Seeing her through his eyes and how he literally cannot control himself. It gave me all the tingles. They have some pretty intense, hot-as-hell scenes. This story is pure chaos and mayhem mixed in with tiny delicious moments that these two authors blend seamlessly. There are also some pretty heavy moments to this story so be aware. That being said, I was engaged for the entire wild ride and loved every second of it.

It was as if I’d never seen a pair of tits before, but I hadn’t. At least none as gorgeous as hers. She was a freaking Greek goddess. When a water droplet reluctantly released its hold on a tightly furled nipple to slip down the plane of her stomach, my eyes followed it all the way to where her hand clutched a washcloth in front of her. I immediately wanted to rip it away from her in order to gaze upon what I knew had to be absolute perfection. I was a grown-ass man and yet that single square of white cloth covering her sex had the power to turn me into a drooling idiot.
His groan was as beautiful as any symphony I’d ever danced to, the fist in my hair serving to reassure me he was in control — that there was no need to fear he’d drop me as we performed together in perfect harmony.
I hadn’t been lying when I said I didn’t want it soft. His warning had stirred my desire into a boiling cauldron.
I wanted it rough.
I wanted it dark and dirty.
I felt like there was a demon inside me, a raw animalistic side of me ready to spring free and rut with the panther I’d visualized this man as being. I’d begged him to make me feel something, and he was fulfilling that plea… still I needed more, so much more.

She was an angel when she danced.
Too bad she attracted the attention of the devil.
She was so innocent and naïve.
Not meant for the cruel realities of this world.
Certainly not meant for someone unworthy.
But every time she floated across the stage, I knew she danced only for me.
Watching her wasn't enough...
My Prima became the light to the dark.
She was mine, and it was time everyone realized it.
I seized my piece of heaven, and to hell with the consequences.
