    Our Recommendation

In my continuing quest to read new-to-me authors who will be at #Shameless18, I came across Kimberly Kincaid, and she certainly did not disappoint. This book is a wonderful second chance, small town romance. As the story unfolds, you cannot help but sit on the edge of your seat while you wait for the main couple to just give in and get together. Hunter is the hottest small town farm boy you could ever hope to meet, and Em feels like someone you could be friends with in real life. She is far from perfect, but that's what makes her so easy to relate to. Together, their chemistry is super hot. I definitely recommend this as a super hot summer read!!!

Hunter Cross has no regrets. Having left his football prospects behind the day he graduated high school, he’s happy to carry out his legacy on his family’s farm in the foothills of the Shenandoah. But when a shoulder injury puts him face-to-face with the high school sweetheart who abandoned town—and him—twelve years ago, Hunter’s simple life gets a lot more complicated.

Emerson Montgomery has secrets. Refusing to divulge why she left her job as a hotshot physical therapist for a pro football team, she struggles to readjust to life in the hometown she left behind. The more time she spends with Hunter, the more Emerson finds herself wanting to trust him with the diagnosis of MS that has turned her world upside down.

But revealing secrets comes with a price. Can Hunter and Emerson rekindle their past love? Or will the realities of the present—and the trust that goes with them—burn that bridge for good?

    & More!

"Jesus, Em," Hunter said, breaking from her lips to slide a kiss to the side of her jaw. How on earth could she taste so sinful and so sweet all at the same time? "You feel so damn good."
He pressed his shoulders beneath her thighs, increasing their contact, and Emerson lost herself in the sight of the two of them wrapped together so intimately. Heat and need pumped through her even harder as Hunter lowered his mouth to her sex with a long, slow sweep of his tongue.
He thrust into her in powerful strokes, his movements becoming sharper, more focused. His muscles quickened, and as passionate as her own orgasm had been, Emerson couldn't deny wanting Hunter's even more.

Jean is a stay at home, homeschooling mom of teenage twins. She has been reading romance since high school as an everyday mini vacation. Her favorite romance book of all time is The Princess Bride. (Don’t ever watch the movie with her unless you can quote the whole thing.)
