I Dare You by Ilsa Madden-Mills

    Our Recommendation

If you need a new college-age romance, Ilsa writes the perfect stories for you. I loved Maverick and Delaney together, especially watching this big football player worm his way into Delaney’s life once she was single again. I like how he had been thinking of her for 2 years since the first time they met, and once he had an opening, he jumped in with both feet. Their text conversations were funny and hot, a little mysterious in the beginning since she didn’t know who he was at first. It was fairly low angst for most of the book, and there was more outside drama than relationship drama.

"I thought you said fast." "I lied," he says breathlessly as his thumbs slide to the front to part me, his tongue lapping. He inhales my scent, his fingers dancing across my body, strumming me and making me undulate against him.
Holding me around the waist, making it seem almost effortless with his strength, he slides into me slowly, giving me what I need.
"You're dripping for me," he says, and I moan. I can't do anything else but be at his mercy as he plays me.

    OUT OF 5 STARS

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
