    Good Time by Jana Aston

    Our Recommendation

Jana always delivers on the laughs and Payton had me rolling from page 1. I don’t know how she snagged Vince, but he put up with a lot of crazy talk and Payton-isms. If Jana doesn’t add some of them to Urban Dictionary, I’ll be disappointed. I have so many highlights, the majority are ones that had me laughing out loud. I loved how this was fairly low angst, but we get to see Payton and Vince fall in love while watching her try to better herself so she can be the wife she thinks he needs. And some of the things she thinks a wife should do or say are hilarious. This was all told in Payton’s POV, but we get a wonderful epilogue in Vince’s POV where he explains how Payton caught him and how he fell in love with her.

    Publisher Synopsis

There’s one thing you should know.
    I wasn’t that drunk.

I’d had more than enough sobriety to have put a stop to it. The truth is, it was my idea. I’m the one who suggested it.

I knew it was crazy, but it’s not as if I’d be the first girl to get married on a whim in Las Vegas. I won’t even be the last girl to get married on a whim in Las Vegas.

So what’s my excuse? I liked him. I liked the idea that he’d be stuck with me, just for a little bit. Because nothing good ever lasts, so might as well have a good time while you can.

...when his eyes land on mine they're just as devastating as I knew they would be, except I don't think devastating is the right word. I need to thesaurus myself another word for his eyes later. A word that means I want to have his babies immediately.
I think my new husband might be the head of the oral Olympic committee.
"You feel so good, Payton." He's breathing heavily and I know he's close. I know he's holding back for me. "I can't wait to feel you come on my cock. Fuck, you're so slick and hot, you feel so good."

    Series Reading Order

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
