    Our Recommendation

I hated Naomi in Getaway Girl. I didn't even know her, but I hated her. What spoiled brat would leave a perfect man at the alter? But that's what she is, a spoiled, vapid, trophy wife to be. And that's where her journey starts. It didn't take me long to fall in love with her. Her spunk and fight remind me of the Southern Belles who raised me. Throw in the sexy alpha military man taking care of his hilarious but sad little sister and you get the perfect story of growth and redemption. And the fact that the story took place in a little town just down the road from my house was the cherry on top.

I loved how Tessa kept Naomi’s Southern sensibilities even in the face of the hotness of Jason. She didn't have her jump right into bed with him and oh boy the build-up was tortuous. I loved watching her grow from the naive debutante-future-trophy-wife into a business owner who wanted to try all the things before real life intruded. My favorite scenes had to be her pageant coaching, helping a teenage girl heal and also seeing this big tough Special Forces man help out, too. Tessa gave us another alpha hero who loved to protect everyone in his life, which now included Naomi. He did have a habit of saving her when she didn’t need it because she was in the process of trying something out for the first time, but that just made you laugh and sigh like a love-sick teenager.

    Publisher Synopsis

    via Amazon

It’s Naomi Clemons’s big day. Her dream wedding. And she’s outta here.

One moment. A chance meeting of gazes through the church window pane with someone familiar who radiates intrigue. Independence. It’s the final push Naomi needs to realize...she’s boring. A blonde, cookie cutter, well mannered trophy wife-to-be. How can she expect to lead a fulfilling married life when she’s never lived?

Special Forces diver Jason Bristow needs a beauty pageant coach. Not for himself—although the tattooed bruiser could definitely use some charm. For his little sister who he has returned to St. Augustine, Florida to raise. When a beautiful southern debutante lands on his doorstep, she awakens a hunger that won’t be ignored. If only she wasn’t planning on winning back the ex-fiancé she left at the altar…

Despite the potential for ruin, heat continues to build between Naomi and Jason beneath the sultry Florida sunshine, consuming them both. But they’re on borrowed time…and it’s about to run out.

    & More!

"Before you tell me I'm nice for bringing you wine..." he rasps into my hair. "Understand that I want to drink it out of your belly button. Want to warm it on that perfect skin, sip it into my mouth, then let it drip out all over your pussy."
"She looks like two angels had a baby, but some of the devil's DNA snuck in and gave her really nice boobs and legs just to fuck with you."
Naomi takes a notepad out of her purse and settles it in her lap, on top of those squeezed-together knees. This is not the time to imagine my dirty hands prying them apart for a marathon pussy-eating session, but I'm a thirty-two year old man with working parts and she's the most incredible thing I've ever fucking laid eyes on.

    OUT OF 5 STARS

My romance novel obsession started when I was a kid reading my Mom's Jackie Collins novels. I’m a romance junkie and I like my men to be alpha males and my ladies to be quirky and strong. I need the HEA but it’s OK if it takes 2 or 3 or 10 books to get there. Lee Nightingale is my forever BBF. I’m a Part-time Realtor and full-time Mommy with a husband, 2 kids and 3 cats. I love to travel almost as much as I love to read.
