    The Chosen by Thea Harrison

    Our Recommendation

Oh, this novella was perfect! It is standalone, but in one of my favorite PNR worlds by Thea Harrison. Thea wrote a wonderful story that made me feel so much… love, hate, sadness, and happiness. Lily was a tough woman who finds herself protecting her town, and Wulf started out tough but then switched to sweet as he tries to woo her into helping his army defeat the supposed bad guy. I have funny, sweet, touching and sexy quotes highlighted, it was hard to narrow down which ones to use. Once you fall in love with this story, I highly recommend reading about her main Elder Races series. You will not be disappointed.

From New York Times bestselling author Thea Harrison

    A Wolf on the hunt...
Wulfgar Hahn, better known as the Wolf of Braugne, is a man on a mission. Determined to avenge the murder of his brother, he stops at Camaeline Abbey to meet with the Chosen of Camael, goddess of the Hearth. Unfortunately, it appears the Chosen wants nothing to do with him.

    A leader in disguise...
Captivated by the Wolf of Braugne despite herself, Lily poses as an unassuming priestess in order to learn more about this ruthless man. But things are not as they seem, and after foiling an assassination attempt, Lily must decide if Wulf is the destroyer from her visions, or the hero of her dreams.

    A choice to be made...
As war looms on the horizon, passion sparks between them, but an enduring relationship between a soldier on the march and a leader who reveres hearth and home is impossible—or is it? Among the swirling snows of the winter Masque, the gods and goddesses of the Elder Races dance, and love will find a way.
The Chosen is the single title release of the novella that was previously published in the holiday anthology AMID THE WINTER SNOW in December, 2017.

He had to touch her everywhere, taste every curve and hollow, and while he feasted all over her body, she undulated underneath his hands, grasping and stroking and licking him until the fire burned so hot he could only quench it by penetrating deep within her.
“You make me want to be better than I am. So I was trying to be a better man.” “I didn’t fall in love with a better man,” she whispered. “I fell in love with you.”

    Other Books by Thea Harrison

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
