Marissa Not So PNR Mini Banner Rogue is probably my favorite of the series so far. The two main characters were great together, and the writing was definitely different than the other three books. Greyson has two different lives, and they crash together when he meets Melanie. He struggles throughout, trying to protect her from his secret and dangerous life as Zero, while trying to claim her as his own when he’s just Greyson. Melanie is always the happy friend, but she has a secret she’s trying to fix without involving her friends, because she was witness to the drama Brooke had to go through for her sister. Katy Evans writes in dual POV, so we can really see how Greyson and Melanie affect each other, the drama they are dealing with outside of their relationship, and also see characters that only interact with Zero or Melanie with Greyson.

Note: There is no licking in this story, so if that annoyed you with Remy, you’re safe reading this one. [August 2014]

The fourth story in the new adult series that began with the New York Times bestseller Real, featuring Brooke's best friend, Melanie, and the ROGUE she can't resist.

Greyson King...
My boyfriend. My friend. My protector. He's the reason I wake up every morning with a smile on my face, and the reason I fall asleep limp, worn out, and aching for his warm arms around me. When we make love, he says my name like it means something. Like I mean something.

His name is Greyson King, but his alias is Zero.
There's zero trace of him, he has zero past, and now I know that with him, I will have zero future.
He may leave no trace of him anywhere, but his imprint is in me, in my very soul--and I hate that a mere look at him commands the beat of my heart. The temperature of my body.
I've looked for love my entire life. I've waited for the butterflies, the rainbows...
Instead I'm in a free fall of emotions and there's no one to catch me but the one man I should be running away from. The one man I thought was my prince charming.
Except this prince charming went rogue.
Greyson will stop at nothing to make me be with him. He'll let no one stand in our way, will allow no one to threaten me, and maybe this is what scares me most of all...
What will my rogue do to keep me?

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
