This is my first book in the Hero Club series and Christopher Harlan created characters that I absolutely adored! Dylan and Penelope melted my heart! Two people who are stuck in places they don't want to be but offer one another an escape into happiness. Their passion gets hot and heavy as there is an intense attraction between them and the chemistry is undeniable. "This wasn’t the time for foreplay—she was begging me to get fucked in every way that I was capable of fucking her." I mean.. COME ON! The way Dylan lets Penelope consume his every move and every thought is total swoon material. The secret meet-ups keeps the story very interesting and even the secondary characters play pivotal roles throughout the book, leading them to their HEA. I want more Dylan and Penelope!

He fucks me hard and fast, slamming me along the shaft of his cock—my hands still pressed against the wall as he keeps total control over me. This doesn’t feel like anything I’ve ever experienced before, and I know that I’m about to come.
All I remember is thinking how hot she was, how my cock was stiffening in my pants almost instantly after seeing her, and how much I wanted to throw her down right there on the lobby floor and do unspeakable things to her.
I look down and see a text from my still forbidden fruit. It’s an image. I don’t know why I click on it right then and there, but I do, and when I do I see Penelope, naked, lying on the bed where I fucked her into oblivion, smiling into her phone with a text that reads “One more time. I’m still wet.”

he was the fruit of a forbidden tree, but nothing in this world was going to stop me from tasting her.
My name is Dylan Murphy, and I work for the rich and powerful of an exclusive Manhattan building. Graham Morgan was my first boss, but soon after I was working with some of the most famous entrepreneurs, business moguls, and movie stars in the city. They trusted me because I always followed the cardinal rules:
Never betray secrets. And never, under any circumstance, get personally involved.
I’d never dreamed of violating my professional mantra.
Not until she walked past me.
The look we exchanged that night set my body on fire, and I knew right then and there that no matter the consequences, she was going to be mine. But she was one of them—off limits and out of my league, but she was the kind of woman who I was willing to risk everything for.
I keep other people’s secrets for a living, but the biggest secret of all might be my own.
