One of the things I loved about this story was Shari wrote half in the past, so we could see how Layne and Dani first met, fell in love and created the perfect family. Then we saw the current issues, watched Dani and Layne fight for the hope that a cure will occur. This story was definitely more character driven than I’ve read recently and it was a wonderful change-up. You will fall in love with Layne, the hot, sweet musician who fell in love with a single mother who did everything in his power to prove he was the man for her and that he would never give up on their love. There may be a few wet eyes, but I promise you will not be disappointed with this romance’s ending.
