I read this book when it first came out 4 years ago and reading it again, I forgot how much I loved Rock and Hope’s story.
It was heartbreaking and also uplifting, and such a change from the normal alpha-hole biker romance. You get the story from dual POV and getting into Rock’s mind while he falls for Hope gave me all the feels. Yes, he can be a caveman and will get his hands dirty, but he only wants to help and protect Hope. I enjoyed their conflict of feelings: Rock feeling guilty about bringing Hope into his world, yet knowing he was selfish to not care enough because he was falling in love with her. And Hope feeling guilt over her feelings for Rock, her marriage, and its end. There is a great cast of side characters and I can’t wait to read their stories, I became involved in their lives just as much as Rock and Hope’s story.
P.S. There was no cheating in this story.
