Liner is so swoony, alpha, sweet and he and Theo are so cute and funny together. If you read book 1, you’d have met the evil twin sister of our heroine so you knew the men of the Bear Bottom MC were going to take issue with one of their own falling in love and helping someone from the same family. They had a lot of prejudices to overcome and make sure Theo was safe from her crazy family while trying to figure out the mystery of why they’d want to control her. I enjoyed the part of the story where Liner figured out who Theo was, then did everything in his power to save her. They didn't have a long courtship, it was almost a love at first sight scenario for Liner, once he figured out who Theo was, and she was just as drawn to Liner's inherent goodness.

Even after I'd come, I couldn't stop myself from slowly pumping my hips, loving the way she felt - so wet and tight. Like she was made for me.

I wasn't dreaming. This was my life now. My awesome, great, beautiful life that I had him to thank for. All because he believed in me when nobody else would.

"I've never in my life needed a woman," he said, holding my gaze. "I've never needed anything. I've lived my life the way I wanted to live it. Then came little old you, and the desire to do anything that didn't include you lost any and all appeal."

Publisher's Synopsis

Good vs Bad.

Light vs Dark.

Right vs Wrong.

There are always two sides to every coin.

Josiah ‘Liner’ Paldecki knew the moment he laid eyes on her that there was something different about her. Something special. Something so unique that it practically poleaxed him the moment that their eyes met.

Except, the next time he saw her, it was like she was a different woman altogether. There was a blankness to her eyes that concerned him. An air of menace about her that honestly scared him to death. He’s more than man enough to admit it.
At first, Liner thinks it’s because she’s bi-polar, or possibly psychopathic.

Then he realizes the truth.

That there isn’t a single person that exhibits such different personalities, but two.

Two identical twin sisters, both completely different, yet exactly the same.

One with a soul, and one without.

One that has his heart, and one that only wants to destroy it.

My first foray into the Romance genre came my freshman year in high school English, where the teacher had us all read books from several different genres. So, my first book boyfriend and PnR introduction, if you will, was Richard Merlin, from The Wizard of Seattle. Prior to that, I’d only read Fantasy or Sci-fi, with a little teen horror thrown in for angst. I was reading The Vampire Diaries decades before it was even a twinkle in the eyes of the producers. Now, I am addicted to PnR, always reading at least one book a week about vamps, wolves, angels, demons, Fae, or overall magic.
