Anne Malcom is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! She creates these dark worlds in which you become completely infatuated with the main characters. Magnolia and Saint have an unusual love story, if you want to call it that. They thrive off chaos, pain and darkness. The way it unfolds is truly unique, so I won't give away specific details but know there are triggers throughout the story. Magnolia is a character you really love or really hate. She screams honesty and intrigue. She puts it all on the table and leaves very little to the imagination. I LOVED her for this. Anne did a fantastic job of making her hard yet lovable... in a twisted, demented kind of way! I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

About This Book
His eyes purposefully ran over me. “Woman that have fuck me eyes, do me lips, and an ‘I’ll bite your head off after sex’ attitude are not vanilla.” He paused. “You are not vanilla.” There was sex in his voice. It was not vanilla. He stayed there, for a beat. In the promise of sex. In the thick air.
I took it, stepping between his legs and placing one hand on the back of his neck, the other on his shoulder. This was not slow. I was done with the bullshit, the games. I wanted to see what his mouth tasted like.
“I’ll rip my beating heart out for you, if you ask.”
Words are my weapon.
Stories wrap around my soul, choking me, capturing you.
I don't work in dreams.
I don't offer escapes.
I cage you within my nightmares.
Magnolia Grace is a horror writer, despite what the name might suggest.
One of the best in the business, if you asked around.
Pressure comes with that title. Expectation for the next nightmare. The next bestseller.
That's what it is.
She can't be healthy. Because that means she won't write.
And she hasn't been writing.
A looming deadline and a crumbling psyche drive her into the woods. To a cabin which was the site of a grizzly murder.
A serial killer, butchering women, toying with her.
Her plan is to borrow some of the horror that seeped into the soil.
But hers follows her.
The woods are meant to be her escape. But they are almost her demise.
He was an unlikely saviour. An unlikely muse. He has horrors of his own. A motorcycle club looking to settle a score. A soul too broken to offer her anything but pain.
