I love a good twist on a beloved fairytale and leave it to the Queen of dirty and depraved smut to create a take on Cinderella that will have you reading one handed. Winston and Ash had an agreement between them that leads down a path of possessive behavior and kinky shenanigans. Naturally, because it is a K. Webster book, there is a slight dip into the taboo pool but, it works perfectly into the story adding a layer of dirtiness that even a shower couldn't wash off. I blew through this book in one night because I was insanely wrapped up in Winston's desire for Ash, her struggle to be happy and how her step-brothers were going to ruin it all. The cliffhanger KILLED me, but I cannot wait for the second part of their story!

Take them off now. Be discreet. Don’t let them see what you’re doing, or they’ll only want you more. Those fuckers already think they have a chance with you, but you’re mine, little girl. I want your panties off and in my pocket within five minutes.
One day, I’m going to spread you out on my bed and see how many fingers you’ll let me put inside you. If I lubed up my whole hand, would you let me fist your cunt, little girl? Would you scream because it hurts, or would you beg for all of it?
“I want it rough,” I murmur, squeezing her ass hard. “I want you to cry and beg.”
“Name your price.”
“I’m not done.” I smirk at her. “I want you somewhere close to people. So they hear who you belong to. Those screams better be all for me but loud enough for them to hear.”

Money can buy anything. And anyone. As the head of the Constantine family, I’m used to people bowing to my will. Cruel, rigid, unyielding—I’m all those things. When I discover the one woman who doesn’t wither under my gaze, but instead smiles right back at me, I’m intrigued.
Ash Elliott needs cash, and I make her trade in crudeness and degradation for it. I crave her tears, her moans. I pay for each one. And every time, she comes back for more. When she challenges me with an offer of her own, I have to decide if I’m willing to give her far more than cold hard cash.
But love can have deadly consequences when it comes from a Constantine. At the stroke of midnight, that choice may be lost for both of us.
