Wendy Higgins wrapped up her Sweet trilogy with a story so sweet, so beautiful, and so fulfilling that it made me laugh out loud, and cry when it was over. The love between Kaidan and Anna is captivating, but I was equally invested in the stories around the supporting characters, who were so well written that I felt like I could be friends with them in real life. At times, the story kept me on the edge of my seat, and at other times, I was laughing and crying along with the characters. Read this trilogy today, and you won't regret it.

"How's this?" I asked. His response was to lift me as if I were weightless onto his lap to straddle him. We kissed hard, yanking down clothes and leaning back his seat with a jolt. "God, you're so beautiful, Anna, I can't even think." "Then don't," I said, bringing my mouth down on his again.

I climbed onto the bed and the sweet torture began as he lay on his side next to me and continued taking his time kissing me. I tried to squirm closer, but he laid his hand firmly on my hip to keep me in place. When his mouth moved down to my shoulder, I let out a moan and saw him smile.
