I was intrigued with the plot of this book the moment I read it. I mean, romance with a machine? I needed to know how that worked and Lillian Lark really painted a vivid world for me to devour. It is a super unique storyline that centers around Charlotte and Matthew and this tangled web they find themselves caught up in. I mean, there a parts during the story where you find yourself forgetting that this alpha male is a robot. Charlotte loses herself to his charm and the sexual chemistry that is created between them is as hot as it is wrong. If you don't think sci-fi romance is your thing, I'd be willing to bet this book changes your mind.

Matthew’s sheepish grin fades as his eyes slide from my bare legs up to my sleep short hems and then the very thin tank top before reaching my face. His eyes have a glint of heat in them and my body tightens in awareness. Yes, underwear is a must next time. Maybe flannel too. Fuck it, a hoodie wouldn’t hurt either.
“Poor little Charlotte, wanting something she’s told herself she can’t have.” His cold growl against the back of my neck escalates my arousal to a painful point. “I can smell how wet you are. It drives me crazy. I bet if I slid my hands up these tiny shorts of yours, I’d find your pussy so hungry for this thick cock that it would beg me to sink my fingers in.”
Matthew uses his thumb to wipe the oil from his lower lip. The action is a sensual broadcast as his lids hood and he presses the thumb to my lips, smearing the fluid across them.
“I need for you to stop tempting me before I give you other things that you deserve, like a spanking or to have your mouth fucked.”
