I love a good friends-to-lovers romance, especially one when it takes a while for things to heat up. The Anti-Boyfriend is exactly that! Deacon and Carys (like Paris) start out as neighbors and friends, but their relationship grows as he falls in love with Carys and her baby. They both have issues they need to get over, but when they finally take a chance, it's awesome. This romance is sweet with very little angst and a baby you'll instantly adore. Fans of the slow-burn build-up will absolutely love The Anti-Boyfriend!

"You know how you felt when you saw the sun that day, Carys? Pretty sure that's exactly what I felt the first time I looked into your eyes."

Publisher's Synopsis

At first, my neighbor Deacon frustrated me.

Sure, he was great-looking and friendly.

But our walls were thin, and on occasion, he'd bring women to his place and keep me awake while he "entertained" them.

As a single mother to an infant, I didn't appreciate it.

So, finally it was my turn.

When my daughter wouldn't stop wailing one night, Mr. Manwhore came knocking on my door.

Miraculously, at the sound of his voice, Sunny stopped crying. And when he held her...she eventually fell asleep in his arms.

Deacon was rough on the exterior, but apparently on the inside? Mr. Single-and-Ready-to-Mingle was a baby whisperer.

After that night, we became friends.

He'd go for coffee runs. Come over to chat. Normal friend stuff.

But over time, our conversations ran deeper. We got closer.

Until one night we crossed the line.

Our friendship turned into a complicated mess.

I'd gone and fallen for a guy who'd sworn off commitment and kids.

I knew Deacon was starting to care for me too, even though Sunny and I didn't fit into any plan he'd ever imagined for himself.

He was wrong for me--so wrong that I'd dubbed him the "anti-boyfriend."

Then why did I wish more than anything that I could be the one woman to change him?

My romance novel obsession started when I was a kid reading my Mom's Jackie Collins novels. I love the steamy romances and I like my men to be alpha males and my ladies to be quirky and strong. I need the HEA but it’s OK if it takes 2 or 3 or 10 books to get there. Lee Nightingale is my forever BBF...no wait, it's Travis Maddox....no, it's Chase Abandonato...for now.

I’m a Mom of 2 daughters, 4 cats and a dog, a travel junkie, cruising in particular, and a Disney fanatic. I love all things beach and all things books!
