What a wild web of romance these two authors created in this story. It flips between MM and MFMM but it is not solely focused on the sexual intimacy between these four characters. It is so much deeper than that. There are dynamics between Ashton and Mia that are completely different and more complex then that of Mia and Drew. Mix in Brayden with all of this and you have yourself quite the crazy love affair. There is so much passion and angst packed into this book and it feels extremely emotional at times, driving home how society feels the need to label us all causing confusion and chaos at times. Love is love through it all and, it doesn't matter who you love as long as it is genuine and makes you happy. I loved the emphasis on that and each of their relationships. You truly walk away feeling like you know these characters and what they want and desire. Plus, the sexual chemistry is extremely hot and provocative. I will be diving right into book 2 of this duet!

He drops his hands to either side of my face, and our mouths mold against each other. I dart my tongue out, moaning when I taste myself on him. He deepens our kiss as I find the button of his pants and undo them. My hands are shaky as I pull his dick out of the hole in his briefs and wrap my palm around his thick shaft. I’ve never felt a dick before.
“You’d be his fuck buddy if he swung that way,” she argues.
“Irrelevant to this conversation.”
“I’d suck him so hard he’d forget how to play stupid-ass hockey. Fuck yeah, I’d be his fuck buddy. "
I chance a glance at him and his eyes lock with mine. He grins a boyish grin and butterflies attack my chest. I’m so absorbed in him, I lose focus.
From The Publisher
From USA Today bestselling author K Webster and Nikki Ash comes Torn Apart: an angsty, new adult, why choose romance.
I’ve spent the past three years in college terrorizing the dean, also known as my father.
I’m everything he hates.
But I’m only getting started.
I’m about to make Dad really proud with my newest life choices…
I fall for my best friend, Mia, who’s a freaking chick.
I’m dying to make out with my enemy, dude bro Brayden.
And best of all, I want to bone my new roomie, Drew, who happens to also be the school’s new hockey coach.
Senior year’s great.
I’m still the world’s worst human.
I’ve made all the wrong decisions, and when Dad gets wind of my newest mess, he might actually disown me this time.
But I can’t stop.
I don’t want to stop.
In typical Ashton Carter fashion, I wreck my life in the worst possible way.
It isn’t until it’s all torn apart, I realize I have a problem.
Authors’ note: Torn Apart is a full-length mature, new adult, why choose romance between friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, with a bit of taboo thrown in. This story contains MF/MFMM/MM scenes. It’s the first book in the Torn and Bound duet and ends with a cliffhanger.
