I could not wait to read Lily and Dan’s story after finishing Sugar and Skulls. Lily has had an interesting life filled with sadness, abuse and trauma. When she finally makes the decision to escape into a life of her own, the results are everything she had ever dreamt about. Watching her come into her own was so beautiful after seeing her overcome so many obstacles . Honestly, I really believe her meeting Dan is what saved her life. He is intense and smoking hot and his connection to Lily is beyond captivating. There was a perfect balance of sex, drama, humor and darkness. Control, abuse and violence are sprinkled throughout, so reader beware. I loved seeing my favorite characters from Sugar and Skulls and was pleasantly surprised to see how they played a role in Lily's life. LM Terry is really knocking it out of the park with this new MC series.

“Your body is mine, your mind, your secrets…” his thrusts become more demanding. My thighs begin to tremble around his hips. “You will give them all to me, won’t you, baby?” he asks.
“I’m yours, I’m yours, I’m yours,” I chant mindlessly.
My bottom lip pops out in a pout. He captures it between his teeth. Holy shit. He releases it, tapping his finger over my lips. “So impatient, love.”
“I need you,” I mouth against his finger.
“And, you have me.”
He fucks me fast and furious until I come undone. Tension builds and builds and builds until I’m…. Spiraling down… down… down.
“Holy, fuck,” I clench my teeth, clinging to this big beast of a man like he’s my salvation. “I hate you and I love you.”
His big arms. I miss them. His beard. I miss it. My hand rises to my cheek, remembering the scratchy feel of it against my skin. His voice. God how I miss the sound of his voice.
He’s a man obsessed. A man searing his love to me, an everlasting imprint that leaves no room for doubt. I’ll die with his love stamped across my lips.

My world consisted of a web of tangled lies. It was show room perfect, an illusion. One I wanted desperately to escape.
Then fate intervened and revealed something new.
Even now I’m not sure how it happened. That the fates aligned so perfectly as to give me a second chance. I had fallen hard and fast and just when I thought my life was over it exploded in color and love and happiness.
A world full of Skulls with dark ink, sharp tongues, and wicked minds.
I had finally found my home.
If only my father hadn’t found it too.
My world had been good. No better than good. It was great. But it was lonely.
Then I made a wish for something more.
Amazingly the universe came through for me. I fell hard and fast. Suddenly things that seemed impossible became possible. My life exploded in warmth and sunshine.
A world full of big brown eyes, soft lips, and sweet sighs. She reminds me of home.
Her father thinks he can take her away from me. I guess he’s never met a Skull.
We protect what’s ours…and Lily is most definitely mine.
Watercolor Skulls is the second novel in the Rebel Skulls MC series. It is a stand-alone with interconnecting characters. It is suggested to read in order to avoid spoilers. It is a dark romance, but I promise it does have a HEA. There is no cheating in this novel. It does contain dark content, including, but not limited to profanity, suicide attempt, sexual abuse, and violence. It could possibly have triggers for some individuals.
